Daytona 500 Favorites

Denny Hamlin

This guy has Daytona 500 win written all over him. He currently has won this race three times and will be looking to make history witd a fourth win and join Cale Yarborough as the only others to win four time except for Richard Petty who has seven wins. Hamlin would like to cement his name into the record books with a win.  Also, at 8-1 odds this is a decent value bet.

Kyle Larson

Daytona 500 favorite list wouldn’t be right without Kyle Larson on the list. The defending NASCAR Cup Series regular season champion is ready to defend that crown after a fantastic season with ten wins in 2021. He has never won this race and the oddsmakers are going by his ability to win at any time. t 10-1 odds, Larson makes him a favorite.

Chase Elliott

At 10-1 odds we have Chase Elliott. He got second last year but hasn’t won the Daytona 500 yet. He has all of the tools and is one of the top racers in  the NASCAR circuit. He is always a threat to win an is a contender at all venues in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Daytona 500 – Longshots

We like to sprinkle our money around and not dump it on one person or wager. Here are a few racers we like as value bets to win the Daytona 500.

Ryan Blaney

Coming in at 12-1 odds we will get apiece of this bet. Blaney is a hot and popular pick throughout the season. With Ford and Team Penske behind him, he has the tools to win and this is a great value bet.

Martin Truex Jr.

Something is drawing me to consider this one. Maybe it is the 20-1 odds and his vast experience and being part of Joe Gibbs racing. It seems that Toyota cars have some success at the Daytona International Speedway.

Daytona 500- Predictions

I am sticking with the favorite and Denny Hamlin. at 8-1, slap a hundred dollar bill down at the wager and walk away happy. Also, I will bet the longshots to spread it around.

See you next week at the Auto Club Speedway in California!
