NASCAR 2022 Predictions for a Next Gen Season

NASCAR 2022 Predictions for a Next Gen Season

NASCAR 2022 Predictions for Cup Series winner- this should be a bit more wide open at the start of the season with the Next-Gen cars that will be used. However, with that said, look for the experienced teams to get things straightened out soon that the smaller teams with less resources. One thing to watch early is the pit stops. The next gen cas have one lug nut on each wheel.Let’s see which teams can make the adjustment . Remember that as you prepare to place any bets.

NASCAR 2022 Predictions

Heading our top spot will be the defending champion from last year and that is Kyle Larson.

NASCAR 2022 PredictionsKyle Larson Facts:In eight season he as 259 starts with 16 wins, 76 Top 5’s, 127 Top 10’s and has one title to his name. Born in Elk Grove, CA on July 31, 1992.

Drives Number 5 Chevrolet

Primary Sponsors are Hendrick, Valvoline, Freightliner, Nations Guard, Cincinnati Inc.

Owner is Hendrick Motorsports

Crew Chief is Cliff Daniels

Larson is under contract through 2023

NASCAR  2022 Predictions – Why Kyle Larson?

He is the defending champions from last year so why not? Until he gets knocked off he is the one to beat. He is not going to in every week even though last year he won 10 races.  Some betting advice on wagering Kyle Larson to win, well, it depends on what you want out of it. The odds are going to be low all season and if you want to win just a small amount of money then bet him. But not until the odds are worth it will I wager him. I will look for better odds such and what I might get on Kyle Busch or Chase Elliott and hope to win more money.

The #2 spot goes to the above mentioned Chase Elliott. He has been driving in the circuit for six years and has amassed 13 wins in 221 starts including 74 Top 5’s, 117 Top 10’s with one title and ha garnered the pole position nine times.

Chase Elliott Facts: Elliott drives #9 Chevrolet-  Primary Sponsors are NAPA Auto Parts, Kelley Blue Book, Hooters, Llumar, Unifirst, Adrenaline Shoc. The owner is Rick Hendricks and Jeff Gordon with Alan Gustafson as his crew chief. He is under contract through 2022. Chase Elliott was born in Dawsonville, Ga on November 28, 1995.

NASCAR 2022 Predictions  – Why Chase Elliott?

First, he did not get the top spot as he had a slump in 2021 after winning the title in 2020. Understandable that winning back-to-back is almost unheard of in NASCAR. Look for good betting odds early in the season and consider wagering him. That is until he gets  a win. Elliott is a contender each week.

We struggled with #3 and the nest one listed and Denny Hamlin got this spot for the 2022 season. He is the most consistent driver on the circuit with an 8.4 average finish plus he led in the standings from February until early August. Hamlin has been getting into some feuds recently with Joey Logano and Chase Briscoe. Hs needs to get that under check.Look for this to be a concern on short tracks where paybacks  can be an issue. Hamlin is another decent one to watch for beneficial betting odds.

At #4 and no argument if moved up to the third spot is Kyle Busch. In 17 years in the circuit, Kyle Busch has 606 starts with 59 wins and that includes 228 Top 5’s, 238 Top 10’sand has grabbed the pole 32 times and has 1 title. He drives #8 Toyota and their primary sponsors include M&M’s/Skittles/Snickers/Pedigree, Interstate Batteries, Sport Clips, Stanley Tools. The owners is Joe Gibbs Racing with his crew chief as Ben Bushore. Kyle is under contract through 2022. He is from Las Vegas and was born on May 2, 1985.

Kyle Busch is the winningest active NASCAR driver with 59 wins. Look for this team to be ahead of many others in getting the new cars figure out. Keep a sharp betting eye on the lines given for Kyle Busch. If it gets too large, it may be worth a wager. In previous races, he has had better finishes on short tracks. There are five on the 2022 schedule this season. Probably  Top 5 fantasy lock for the playoffs.

At #5 is Kyle Busch teammate, Martin TruexJr. He drive #19 Toyota and in 16 seasons has 31 wins with 129 Top 5’s, 248 Top 10’s and grabbed the pole 19 times and has 1 title to his name. His owner is also Joe Gibbs Racing and the primary sponsors include Bass Pro Shops,Auto-Owners Insurance, Reser’s Fine Foods and Stanley Tools. He is under contra ct through 2022 and his crew chief is James Small. Truex is from Mayetta, N. J. and was born on June 29, 1980.

Five of his last seven wins have come on short track ovals including two last year. He has never won at Daytona or Talladega and will be targeting those. I still wouldn’t bet him unless you get favorable odds.

NASCAR 2022 Predictions $6-#10

At #6 is Ryan Blaney. He is from High Point, NC and was born on December 31, 1993. He drives #12 Ford for owner Roger Penske  with Jonathan Hassler as his crew chief. His primary sponsors are Advance Auto Parts, BODY/ARMOR, Menards and DEX Imaging. He is under contract through 2022. Blaney has been in the NASCAR circuit for seven years and has accumulated 7 wins in 234 starts with 49 Top 5’s, 96 Top 10’s, and no titles.

He is considered one of the best closers on the track as he led just 40 laps in three wins. In Daytona he should be considered a serious contender due to past history. Blaney hasn’t shown the propensity to do well in the playoffs. Pick your spots when betting him to win.

Joey Logano is #7 on our predictions. He navigates #22 Ford for Team Penske. His crew chief is Paul Wolfe and primary sponsors include Shell-Pennzoil, AAA, and Verizon. He is under contract through 2023 and his hometown is Middletown, Connecticut. He was born May 24, 1990.

His best finishes come from short tracks and road courses. Pressure is on him as he will have to take over for Brad Keselowski,  Betting Logano is fine under certain track conditions. He finished second at Daytona and won on dirt at Bristol last year.  He is in his 13th year with 27 wins, 138 Top 5’s, 240 Top 10’s and one title to his resume.

At #8 is veteran Kevin Harvick. In 21 years he has 754 starts with 58 wins, 236 Top 5’s, 413 Top 10’s, sat on the pole for 31 races and has one title. He is from Bakersfield, CA and was born December 8, 1975. He drives the #4 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing . His crew chief for 2022 will be Rodney Childers. His contract runs through 2023. His primary sponsors include Busch Beer, Mobil 1, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Unibet, Subway. Gear Wrench .

Harvick did not  win any races in 2021 and that was the first time since 2009. He must show some improvement on the road course. He is the elder statesman in the NASCAR Cup Series and one has to wonder if any more good days are ahead of him. Do your homework when betting Kevin Harvick. You should get decent odds and look for success at certain tracks.(Kansas and Bristol) His age isn’t a problem but his experience will always continue to be a factor in his ability to win.

NASCAR 2022 Predictions continues……

William Byron gets the #9 spot for 2022. He has been racing for 4 years with 144 starts and 2 wins along with 21 Top 5’s and 51 Top 10’s . He has been on the pole 7 times an has no titles to his mane yet. He was born on November 29,1997 and lives in Charlotte, NC.He races for owners Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon. He drives the #24 Chevrolet with Rudy Fugle as his crew chief. He has a contract through 2022. His primary sponsors are Axalta, Liberty University and Valvoline.

Byron is still learning. He is a hard charger and a great teammate to help Kyle Larson. Look for several wins this season as it may be hit and miss on his wins. He hasn’t established a pattern yet.

Alex Bowman gets the final spot in the Top 10 for 2022 NASCAR Cup Series projections. In 7 years, he has no tiles and has started on the pole 3 times with 6 wins in 225 starts. Bowman is one of the most aggressive drivers on the track. His team needs to see more consistent top ten finishes and 4-6 wins this year to warrant his contract.

When betting Bowman, it will be with decent odds to make some money. Watch him closely the week prior and when he heats up, it is time to wager some tracks that show success for Alex Bowman.
