- (NEWEST) In its second year of operation. 23XI Racing, owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin has announced a sponsorship agreement with McDonald’s for the 2022 season. They will be primary sponsor for Wallace’s No 23 and Busch’s No 45 Toyotas which includes the Daytona 500.
- Richard Petty Motorsports has been rebranded to Petty GMS Motorsports. Ty Dillon will drive the 42; Erik Jones still in the 4
Michael McDowell will drive the #34 for Front Row Motorsports in the Cup series and Todd Gilliland moves into the #38 Ford. In the Truck racing Gillialand and Zane Smith handle the 38 for those races.
In 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will has Spire Motorsports expanding their team, It will be led by Kevin “Bobo” Manlon and Mike Greci.
DODGE to Join NASCAR?
Steve Phelps, NASCAR President wouldn’t deny of confirm the latest rumor that Dodge is considering a return to the circuit. Just that alone is important but they aren’t likely to get back in before the 2023 season. The Dodge Corporation would need to get a team to change over from Chevrolet, Ford or Toyota and take the plunge with them. Watch this space for more to this ever growing story.
NASCAR NEWS-Champion’s Week
Every yer NASCAR celebrates it champions and the completion of the season. Now that the 2021 season is gone, they will continue this in Nashville from Nov 30 through Dec. 2. Awards will take place on Dec 2nd at the Music City Center where the industry along with celebrities and guests will honor the Cup Series Champion, Xfinity Series and Camping World Trucks Series winners. Also, champions of ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour including the NASCAR Advance AUTO Parts Weekly series national champion have been invited to celebrate in Nashville.
