Gervonta Davis vs Issac Gonzalez will take place on Sunday, December 5, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It is a bout for the WBA Lightweight championship. Originally, Ronald Romero was to fight “Tank” Davis but legal issues forced him out and Gonzalez jumped at the chance.

Gervonta “Tank’ Davis is from the Baltimore. MD in the United States and has a record of 24-0. In those fights he has ended 23 of them with KO’s. He is an excellent puncher as noticed by the knockouts he has accomplished. He has two National Junior Olympic gold medals to his credit. He defeated Mario Barrios in a super lightweight fight at the State Farm arena in Atlanta in his last outing.

Isaac “Pitbull” Gonzalez is a Mexican born fighter that has been having some serious success recently. He come ins with a 22-1-1- record and 15 KO’s.He took on former title holder Diego Magdaleno and won it in 53 seconds. His only blemish on his record came back in 2016. He is known as the Mexican Mike Tyson.

Prediction and Odds

Davis is listed as the favorite at -1450 with Gonzalez the underdog +770. i usually jump at underdogs if I thought they had a chance , with this being a value bet to go with “Pitbull” I just don’t think he has the experience to fight a puncher like “Tank” Davis.
