- The newly found SEC rivalry looms large for the Tigers…coming off a big win last week against Florida
- Arkansas suffered a brutal loss last week, as they went toe to toe with SEC heavyweight Alabama-in Tuscaloosa
- A game of fireworks awaits, as these two high powered offenses look to end their seasons on a high note…and a win
Looking at this game on paper, and seeing the records of these teams, you would be inclined to think this game may not mean much. 7-4 vs 6-5, respectively…it could make sense. However, this Friday, the SEC mantra of “it just means more” will ring true. Storylines abound with Missouri HC Eli Drinkwitz, returning home to put an exclamation mark on his season. The Tigers are trending with 2nd year HC Drinkwitz and look to be back in the swing of things while the program continues to keep recruiting at a high level.
On the other hand, The Hogs look to end on a high note, as a season of heartbreak and success, have led to this. A loss and the fanbase remembers the heartbreak, a win, and the season ends in an 8-4 top 25 season with some great wins and a bowl game on the Horizon.
A fun matchup, both teams with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove…as two SEC up and comers look to go out with a bang.

Arkansas Preview: Who? Pig Suey
It’s the year 2021, and for the first time in almost a decade, Woo-Pig-Suey finally has that nice ring to it. It has seemingly felt like something has been missing in the SEC. Now with the Razorbacks playing good football and physical football…it feels like order has been restored in Little Rock. Sam Pittman has this team playing absolutely fantastic football. A couple of gut-wrenching Ls this year have been hard to swallow, but there are so many positives to take from this season as the trend continues to climb upward. Powered by a tremendous rushing attack that ranks 13th in the nation, an NFL caliber receiver in Treylon Burks, who looks to crack 1000 yards on the season tomorrow and capped off with a supremely talented playmaker under center for the Hogs, KJ Jefferson. This team can light the scoreboard up and will look to pound you all game and break you into submission. From (Who) Pig, back to WOO PIG-the Razorbacks are so BACK
Missouri Preview: Eye of the Tiger
Since the Gary Pinkle era in Columbia…Missouri FB has been a shell of itself. That was until new hotshot HC Eli Drinkwitz took the keys to the zoo and let the tigers out of the cage. While they are still learning how to hunt, success has been there. There are things to be excited about in Columbia, as the recruiting has changed drastically along with the culture (the defense needs to make that step too). The team is winning some big games, and putting on a show while doing it. The story on this team is hotshot QB Conor Bazelak, a gunslinger with as much swagger as any signal-caller in the SEC. Totaling 2500 yards and 16 TDS, his sophomore campaign is trending well…the other side of the ball, however, is not. This team still looks to find an identity on the other side of the ball, as the defense plays like a turnstyle without the turnstyle. Outside the top100 in total defense, this team will have to get into a shootout Friday, or else they have little to no chance of winning this game. They will have to gaze into the Hogs, with the eye of the Tiger and hunt their prey down this week. Or watch out, it will be a Razorback stampede in Little Rock
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This College Football Game
Missouri is a 14.5 half-dog on the road coming off a win against Florida. I believe that is a little disrespectful and Vegas has given them a chance to cover. However, the ML is +450 and I think that is totally fair and is one that should be put on the back shelf. Arkansas is the better team, at home and has something to prove after narrowly losing to Bama last weekend. The O/U sits at 62.5-Love this number and love the over as well with these two offenses.
