Last year was a five win season with seven of the last nine resulting in losses. Running back Sandon McCoy returns after rushing for 326 yards and garnering 10 touchdowns. A new quarterback is needed for Army and first choice appears to be Christian Anderson with Jabari Lewis waiting for his chance. There is a roomful of receivers that return as Artice Hobbs IV, Michael Roberts and Camden Harrison are the targets.  On defense Arik Smith racked up an amazing 83 tackles.

The Numbers

Army was 2-7 ATS in their previous nine non conference contests and are 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven games in September. The Blue

Raiders are 5-1 on the over in the last six games along with 4-0 at home in the last four home contests. MT is 4-1 as an underdog in their last five games.

Our bet is Army by a touchdown as Middle Tennessee has trouble against better competition. Too much experience returns to not take the Black Knights.
