We continue, here at KnupSports, our series looking at each of the Division 1 conferences as the College Football season gets closer. We will look at each team and their schedule and make a prediction for their end-of-the-year record. Today we feature the Conference USA.

Charlotte 49ers

Charlotte begins with three home contests and that will be a chore to win two of them. Later in the schedule, they face Tennessee, FIU, and FAU. Not good for the 49ers as the complete the season at 3-9.

This could be the surprise team in the conference. They get to travel to South Carolina to face the Gamecocks and they come home to play NC State. They are fortunate to get Florida Atlantic at home. They finish at 9-3.

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

The opener is in Nashville as they take on Vanderbilt. Week three they travel to face Georgia. Week five s at home with Florida Atlantic. I think you get the picture that the schedule has potential to be brutal if they are not up to the task. Look for a 6-6 record.

North Texas Mean Green

A home game to open the season against SMU can be won. However, they travel to Arkansas and have FAU at home. Not inconceivable for this team to end 10-2.
