This is another subjective article but it is a brain cramp topic as to who are the best quarterbacks in College Football for the 2018 season. Feel free to make you won changes in your brain and move on. Let’s get started!
1- Jarrett Stidham -Auburn
He and his coach, Gus Malzahn, hit it off and thrived on the offensive side of the ball. Stidham had them one game away.
2- Will Grier -West Virginia
The Mountaineers may have had the best offense last year of any team in football. Grier, a Florida transfer, has an excellent receiving corps to enhance his game.
3- Drew Locke -Missouri
If he is steady and consistent, he may be the best in the country.
4- Trace McSorley -Penn State
There is a ton of offense that is gone from the Nittany Lions but the team will continue to get the job done.
5- McKenzie Milton -UCF
He did it all as he led his team to an undefeated season. He passed for 35 touchdowns and 3,795 yards along with rushing for 497 yards and seven touchdowns. He may sneak in as the Heisman winner.
6- Shea Patterson- Michigan
He is an Ole Miss transfer and could add a bunch to the offensive scheme at Michigan.
7- Ryan Finley- NC State
He has great receivers and is a smart QB.
8- Khalil Tate -Arizona
He rushed for 1,207 yards in six games. In the bowl game, he was outstanding as he passed for five touchdowns.
9- Jake Browning -Washington
He pairs with Myles Gaskin to make a formidable offense.
10- Justin Herbert -Oregon
He was sorely missed for five games when hurt. He will make up for it.
11- Brian Lewerke -Michigan State
He has plenty of offensive weapons to make him look good.
12- Tua Tagovailoa -Alabama
He was fantastic in the Ntional Championship and apparently beat out Jalen Hurts for the starting position.
13- Nick Fitzgerald -Mississippi State
He has good offensive players around him with a stellar backfield to back him up. He is a threat to run almost anytime.
14- Jake Fromm -Georgia
He got his shot after an injury to Jacob Eason and the sophomore will continue.
15- Kyler Murray -Oklahoma
He is Baker Mayfield’s replacement and will handle the duties just fine. He might be one and done.
16- Kelly Bryant -Clemson
He took them to the playoffs and now has to prove himself again.
17- Josh Jackson -Virginia Tech
He might be the best quarterback they have ever seen at VT.
18- Brent Rypien -Bosie State
He is solid behind center and finds targets easily.
19- Justice Hansen -Arkansas State
The offense is pass first and with good receivers he will flourish
20- Jordan Ta’amu- Ole Miss
Took over after Patterson got injured and did the job quite well. He has a strong arm with good reads.
