Peacock Network to Feature Reality Show- “The Traitors”

Peacock Network describes the show as ‘a murder mystery to die for”.

Peacock Network did it. They are featuring a Reality show which is unlike any other. It will be a murder mystery. I twill be first class binge watching. former Reality Stars will make up half of the cast of twenty while unknown characters are the other half.

Peacock Network features the following Reality Stars: Brandi Glanville, Arie Luyendyk Jr., Reza Farahan, Cirie Fields, Alan Cumming, Kate Chastain, Kyle Cooke, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Cody Calafiore, and Rachel Reilly.

The Traitors will bring together 20 cunning contestants as they compete in intense challenges for a quarter of a million dollars.

Among the 20 cast members are 10 reality stars — some of whom know a thing or two about deceiving their co-stars to win a major pot of gold. Brandi, who has also competed on The Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother, will face off against OG Big Brother players such as Cody Calafiore and Rachel, along with Survivor’s Cirie Fields and Stephanie LaGrossa.

If you are a Reality Show enthusiast then this will surely be a moment in reality television history we won’t want to miss.

Peacock Network describes the show as ‘a murder mystery to die for”. Of the 20 players. three of them are actually “traitors”. The shady ones have potential to murder the innocent or faithful along possibly sabotage the prize fund.

Shows host on Peacock Network is Alan Cumming and he stated on a trailer for the show:

 “You will need the strength of a lion and the stealth of a fox.In this game, the person sitting next to you may smile and smile … and be a villain.

”The trailer ends with host Alan Cumming telling Glanville, “And you thought The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was bad.”

Think of all the reasons you love reality shows. It’s all “The Traitors features scheming. lying.backstabbing. Not only that but the contestants are part of some physical competitions such as  being spun on a giant wheel and dropping from a helicopter. The next clip showed contestants being buried alive.

Corie Henson, EVP Entertainment Unscripted Content, NBCUniversal, said in a statement,

“We can’t wait for Peacock audiences to experience and play along in this epic game of manipulation and deceit … all while the iconic Alan Cumming pulls the strings of our incredible cast to create the ultimate ‘whodunit.’”

This show airs on January 12 on Peacock Network and the season has already been filmed.


The Peacock Network write-up of the show “the Traitors” says:

Twenty of America’s most cunning contestants, a mix of famous faces and everyday Americans, play the ultimate murder mystery game. Hosted by award-winning actor Alan Cumming at an ancient castle in Scotland, they will work together on exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. But hidden amongst the Faithful contestants are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors will murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree while the players try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor makes it to the end, they will steal all the money.
