CS:GO ESL Pro League Season 13 – League Standings

The ESL Pro League Season 13 is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional esports league. It comprises teams out of four regions: Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. There are a total of 24 teams in each season of the league.

The league was founded in 2015, and this will be the 13th season that professional gamers from all over the world participate in the competition.

The format for the league involves four groups containing six teams each who compete against one another. Similar to March Madness, each team is competing for a spot in the final tournament, which are essentially the playoffs.

Teams are participating in the group stage currently, but once finished, will enter the round of 32, followed by the round of 16, eventually the quarterfinal, semifinal, and finally the finals for the year.

Friday, April 2nd, is the set date for when these video game experts will face off against one another. Until then, they compete day after day, becoming more familiar with each other and their game style. This creates for a much more competitive atmosphere come playoff time.

ESL Pro League Season 13 – Standings

Here are the current rankings and standings for each group as of March 26th at 4:00 p.m. ET. A team gains 3 points for each win and gains no points when they fall to its competitor.

Group A

1. Heroic – 15 points – 5 wins 0 losses
2. Complexity – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
3. FunPlus Phoenix – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
4. OG – 6 points – 2 wins 3 losses
5. BIG – 3 points – 1 win 4 losses
6. Renegades – 3 points – 1 win 4 losses

Martin Lund (@stavn), Casper Moller (@cadiaN), René Madsen (@TeSeS) are the three top contributors to the perfect record held by the Heroic team to this point in the season.

Group B

1. Ninjas in Pyjamas – 12 points – 4 wins 1 loss
2. ENCE – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
3. G2 Esports – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
4. Team Vitality – 6 points – 2 wins 3 losses
5. FaZe Clan – 6 points – 2 wins 3 losses
6. Mousesports – 3 points – 1 win 4 losses

Hampus Poser (@hampus), Fredrik Sterner (@REZ), and Erik Gustafsson (@ztr) are the three main components to why the Ninjas in Pyjamas have had such a successful season thus far.

Group C

1. Gambit Esports – 15 points – 5 wins 0 losses
2. FURIA Esports – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
3. Natus Vincere – 9 points – 3 wins 2 losses
4. Cloud9 – 6 points – 2 wins 3 losses
5. MIBR – 6 points – 2 wins 3 losses
6. Team oNe eSports – 0 points – 0 wins 5 losses

The captain Abay Khassenov (@Hobbit), along with fellow teammates Timofey Yakushin (@interz) and Vladislav Gorshkov (@nafany), are the main reason why Gambit Esports has had a perfect season and will be the team to beat starting April 2nd when the playoffs begin.

Group D

1. Virtus.pro – 6 points – 2 wins 0 losses
2. Endpoint – 3 points – 1 win 1 loss
3. Evil Geniuses – 3 points – 1 win 1 loss
4. Team Liquid – 3 points – 1 win 0 losses
5. Astralis – 0 points – 0 wins 1 loss
6. Fnatic – 0 points – 0 wins 2 losses

As you can see, Group D hasn’t had as much exposure and preparation for the playoffs starting next week, but Virtus.pro hopes to carry their momentum into their opening-round matchup.

It should be a competitive week for the Electronic Sports League as followers will be watching from all over the world. April 2nd, folks, mark your calendars.
