PSG Talon was founded in 2019 and competes in the Pacific Championship Series in the top-level league for the game in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia.

In 2020 Talon finished third in the spring regular season and qualified for the first round of playoffs in the winner’s bracket. Talon swept Nova Esports in the first round and then did the same to ahq eSports Club in the second round.

This put them in the semifinals in the winner’s bracket, and they lost in a tight match against Machi Esports. They were then placed in the semifinals in the losers bracket and beat ahq again to qualify for the finals.

Talon got a rematch against Machi Esports in the finals and won, earning them their first title. June 18th, 2020 Talon Esports announced that its League of Legends team partnered with PSG Esports and would then become PSG Talon.

PSG Talon finished third in the summer regular season, beating Nova Esports in the first round of the winner’s bracket and beat ahq eSports Club in the Second.

PSG Talon was then able to defeat Machi Esports in a tight semifinals rematch which put them in the summer finals and the 2020 World Championship.

PSG would go on to Machi Esports in the finals and lose, placing them into the play-in stage of Worlds as the Pacific Championship Series second seed.

Esports Insider says: “This partnership will undoubtedly benefit both entities. Not only has PSG Talon acquired another commercial partner to its portfolio, but the AORUS brand will gain more exposure throughout the PCS and also at international competitions, should the team qualify for them.” (Daniels)
