FanDuel NBA Lineup Tips for DFS on May 19, 2021: There are only two games on for tonight’s slate as teams are battling in the play-in tournament to clinch a playoff spot. The San Antonio Spurs will be taking on the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:00 pm EST, and the Golden State Warriors will be clashing against the Los Angeles Lakers at 10:00 EST. A player with low ownership has the potential of making DFS have the edge for a top prize in a pool for tonight’s action. The price on some players is not great on FanDuel.

These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Wednesday, May 19.

POINT GUARD – STAR

Stephen Curry $10,400

Curry may be the top player in tonight’s slate. There are games where he doesn’t rebound or dish the ball well; however, can give you 30+ or go for more points due to his shooting ability and unlimited range. If he does get the boards and assists, expect 55+ FP.

POINT GUARD – VALUE

Dejounte Murray $7,700

Murray would be the player I would go for when choosing between him or Morant. Morant has been very confusing to roster this season due to his inconsistency. For a $200 difference, Murray has way more upside.

SHOOTING GUARD – STAR

Demar DeRozan $7,500

This is a must-win game for the San Antonio Spurs. DeRozan’s minutes have been all over the place as the team has been involved in a couple of blowouts or letting him rest every few games as the team has dealt with injuries.

His scoring ability to put up 20+ points a game and his playmaking ability (6.9 APG) will be needed for the Spurs to have a chance to win. Expect him to play 35+ minutes.

SHOOTING GUARD – VALUE

Lonnie Walker $3,900

Walker may get around 25 minutes with Devin White out. If Walker could find his range from behind the arc, he could be the steal of this slate.

SMALL FORWARD – STAR

LeBron James $10,000

This slate for the small forward position isn’t great. For the top stud for tonight, I believe James and Curry are the best options. James will be the main ball handler for the Lakers and will most likely have the highest usage rate on the team.

SMALL FORWARD – VALUE

Kyle Anderson $6,200, Keldon Johnson $4,500

Anderson probably won’t get a ton of minutes like the rest of the starters but could be an X factor. Anderson can do a little bit of everything on the stat sheet.

Johnson is another X factor as he is inconsistent but good get a few shot attempts and rebound the ball.

POWER FORWARD – STAR

Draymond Green $8,200

Green is the other starter the team will rely on. He also has the triple-double upside and should be able to get easy assists if Curry catches on fire early in the game.

POWER FORWARD – VALUE

Jaren Jackson $6,600

Jackson was on a mini minutes restriction but had a major impact against the Golden State Warriors. He was three rebounds away from getting a double-double. He can do a little bit of everything.

CENTER – STAR

Jonas Valanciunas $8,700

Valanciunas has been a very consistent player this season. He got 31+ minutes in four of his last five games. He ended the season with five straight double-doubles and will need to do what he has done all year to have a chance to win.

CENTER – VALUE

Jakob Poeltl $6,300

If this game is close expect Poeltl to play a good amount of minutes. During the regular season, he got a consistent number of minutes ranging from 25-30 minutes on any given night. If he can stay out of foul trouble he may be able to get a double-double with more minutes.

I like Poeltl tonight because it is difficult to figure out how many minutes Andre Drummond will get for the Lakers.
