NBA DFS: Fanduel Picks 30 March 2021: It’s back to a much shorter slate with a four-game slate for Tuesday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:00 pm EST. There should be some good value plays with a shorter slate. The Charlotte Hornets at the Washington Wizards, the Philadelphia 76ers at the Denver Nuggets, the Orlando Magic at the Los Angeles Clippers, and lastly, Atlanta Hawks at the Phoenix Suns.
These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Tuesday, March 30.
STAR – Russell Westbrook $11,000
If Bradley Beal misses another game tonight, Westbrook should have big numbers once again, this time against the Charlotte Hornets. Westbrook has been so good as of late and is always a triple-double threat almost every night. Westbrook had 35 points, 21 assists, and 14 rebounds against the Indiana Pacers.
VALUE – Terry Rozier $7,500
With LaMelo Ball out, Rozier’s usage rate has gone up along with his teammate Devonte Graham. In his last five outings, Rozier 21.0 PPG, 5.4 APG, and 4.8 RPG. He should continue to get the minutes and the shots to have a chance to win the remaining games for the rest of the season.
STAR – Paul George $8,700
George was a late scratch against the Milwaukee Bucks and wasn’t a big issue for the team as they won without George. George hasn’t been as good as the last couple of years to roster in these DFS lineups, but if he does play, the matchup looks to be in his favor.
VALUE – Devonte Graham $5,300, Terrance Mann $4,700
Along with his teammate Rozier, the minutes have gone up for both players. The Washington Wizards are not a good defensive team. Graham also had 30 points and shot the ball 21times against the Phoenix Suns, who are a much better defensive team.
Mann was one of the players who had to step up last night when George was ruled out. If PG13 sits out again, Mann will most likely draw the start again. He has been solid these last few games with a cheap price tag.
STAR – Gordon Hayward $7,000
Hayward has been on and off during this stretch without Ball in the lineup. Hayward is still a good player to the roster in this spot because he can do a little of everything on the offensive end of the court. Expect the game to be close as the spread is only being three points.
VALUE – Rui Hachimura $5,700, Otto Porter $5,000
Hachimura took advantage of an increased role on offense with Bradley Beal out of the lineup against the Pacers. It’s odd to see Rui listed as a small forward on Fanduel as the Hornets struggle against opposing bigs, and Rui did not disappoint with 26 points, three assists, and eight rebounds. Please monitor Beal’s injury.
With Terrance Ross coming back from injury, Dwayne Bacon should lose minutes, but Porter should still be able to get 20+ minutes.
STAR – Tobias Harris $8,600
With Joel Embiid out again, Harris’s usage rate will always be higher than usual. Harris has thrived with the absence of their star by averaging 24 PPG, 8.1 RPG, five APG, 1.4 steals per game, and 0.8 blocks per game over the last seven-game.
VALUE – Chuma Okeke $5,300
The Orlando Magic traded all their top players to rebuild for the future. These last two games, Okeke has been one of the team’s go-to players on the offensive end. He is still very cheap at this price.
STAR – Nikola Jokic $11,300, DeAndre Ayton $7,000
With no Embiid on the floor, the potential MVP could take advantage of the matchup. Just like Westbrook, he is a triple-double almost every night.
The minutes have come back for Ayton these last few games. He has been getting double-doubles or close to it since getting around 30+ minutes.
VALUE – Wendell Carter $5,500, Dwight Howard $5,100
A change of scenery may be what Carter needed to be a solid starter in this league as he struggled to play key minutes down the stretch before the trade deadline for the Chicago Bulls. It will be interesting to see when he will get a minutes boost.
Howard is pretty cheap and can be a very valuable play because the matchup against Jokic is better suited for him rather than Mike Scott. Just hope he doesn’t get ejected from the game again.
