FanDuel NBA Lineup Tips for DFS on May 24, 2021: There are only two games on for tonight’s slate as playoffs are underway. The Mami at the Milwaukee Bucks is tipping off at 7:30 EST, and the Portland Trail Blazers at the Denver Nuggets begins at 10:00 EST. This will be the second game for both teams. Value is too hard to get in any playoff game.

These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Monday, May 24

POINT GUARD

STAR – Damian Lillard $10,100

Lillard showed why he is known as DAME TIME. He will be dominating the usage for the Portland Trail Blazers by taking a lot of shots. With a similar price, I prefer taking him over Antetokounmpo.

VALUE – Goran Dragic $5,500

Dragic did play 34 minutes as the game went to overtime due to his experience over Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro. Dragic had 25 points and it’s hard to roster the Miami Heat point guards as their minutes fluctuate every game. Nunn got 22 minutes of playing time and Herro only saw 19 minutes of action.

SHOOTING GUARD

STAR – CJ McCollum $7,500

McCollum is the best shooting guard on this slate with all these minute fluctuations with all the other players in the shooting guard position. He did get 35.7 FP points last game and could do a little bit of everything on the offensive side of things.

VALUE – Donte DiVincenzo $5,300

DiVincenzo did notch a double-double last game. He can certainly give you good value as he can score, rebound, and dish the ball.

SMALL FORWARD

STAR – Jimmy Butler $9,100

Butler didn’t have a good game in game one as he shot 4-22 from the field and 2-9 from the three-point range. However, he did have a near triple-double with 10 rebounds, 8 assists to go with his 17 points. He could have had a more impressive game if he did connect and has 60+ FP potential.

VALUE – Norman Powell $6,200

Powell did 36 minutes in the last game, but only went 3-11 from the field and 1-5 from behind the arc. The minutes are there for him, but if he can shoot better, he should pay off the value. Don’t really like Duncan Robinson because his points come by how many three-pointers he’s going to have to knock down.

POWER FORWARD

STAR – Giannis Antetokounmpo $10,900

The power-forward position is not as strong on this slate. The Milwaukee Bucks will push him a lot and will be 38-40+ minutes. Giannis will also get a usage boost and has triple-double upside on a nightly basis.

VALUE – Robert Covington $4,400

Covington was a very frustrating player to roster in the regular season. He may be a low usage player, but his minutes are there. He can certainly shoot the ball due to his range, but his value comes with the blocks and steals if he can get them. Prefer him over Carmelo Anthony simply due to the number of minutes even though they are slated for different positions.

CENTER

STAR – Jusuf Nurkic $8,000

If you can’t pay up for Nikola Jokic, Nurkic is probably the second-best option. Nurkic had a great stat line, in which he had 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and one block. He shouldn’t have a minutes restriction as he did towards the regular season.

VALUE – Brook Lopez $5,700

Lopez played 36 minutes and was very close to getting a double-double. He did shoot 50 percent from the field and made a three-point shot. If he gets around 30 minutes 25-28+ FP could be a very good possibility. If you need a cheap center, he could be the best option.
