FanDuel NBA Lineup Tips for DFS on May 13, 2021: It’s a nine-game slate for Thursday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:00 pm EST. With the season winding down, the role players may get additional playing time for the stars to rest up. A lot of players might be ruled out throughout the day.

The Los Angeles Clippers at the Charlotte Hornets, the Milwaukee Bucks at the Indiana Pacers, the Orlando Magic at the Atlanta Hawks, the Philadelphia 76ers at the Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs at the New York Knicks, the Sacramento Kings at the Memphis Grizzlies, the Toronto Raptors at the Chicago Bulls, the Denver Nuggets at the Minnesota Timberwolves, and finally the Portland Trail Blazers at the Phoenix Suns.

These are my FanDuel NBA Lineup tips and picks for Thursday, May 13.

Point Guard – Star

Trae Young $8,600, Delon Wright $8,300

Young may be a good play tonight but the Atlanta Hawks clinched a playoff spot, and some players may be ruled out as the day progresses. Young did have good back-to-back games against the Washington Wizards where he had 50.7 FP and 51.1 FP.

The Sacramento Kings are playing without both De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton. Wright has been a very productive player when given the minutes.

Point Guard – Value

Ben Simmons $7,100, Malachi Flynn $5,500, Elfrid Payton $3,500

It was shocking to see Joel Embid not play last game against the Indiana Pacers. If Embiid is ruled out once against, the usage rates of Simmons and Tobias Harris have always gone up as we saw numerous times this season. Please monitor the injury.

Flynn will probably get 32+ minutes against the Chicago Bulls because the minutes will be spread out due to injuries. Today’s slate would not be a bad idea for multiple Toronto Raptor players in one lineup for value purposes.

If Immanuel Quickley and Derrick Rose are both ruled out, this would open up a lot of minutes at the guard spot, especially for Payton.

Shooting Guard – Star

D’Angelo Russell $7,700

Russell is back to being a starter now and only played 29 minutes in each of these last two games due to blowouts. He still got 43.7 and 46 FP in these last two matchups. He is a very high usage player on this struggling Minnesota Timberwolves squad.

Shooting Guard – Value

Gary Trent $4,900, Yuta Watanabe $3,500

Trent was very disappointing against the Los Angeles Clippers as he went 3-16 from the field and 1-7 from the three-point range. However, the Toronto Raptors are dealing with a ton of injuries and may have an eight-man rotation. When rostering Trent, his shot needs to be on point as he doesn’t really do much outside of shooting the ball.

Watanabe came off the bench last game for the Toronto Raptors but should start for this one against the Chicago Bulls. He should have more opportunities on the floor and should play 30+ plus.

Small Forward – Star

Jimmy Butler $9,300

Butler only played 17 minutes against the Boston Celtics due to any injury. This is another wait-and-see type of situation, but the Heat have a lot to play in regards to seeding.

Small Forward – Value

Anthony Edwards $8,500

Edwards is another player you can look to on the Minnesota Timberwolves as he is another player as he is a Rookie of the Year race against Lamelo Ball. The small-forward slate is very weak tonight. Kawhi Leonard is just so hard to roster, and it’s tough to know how many minutes he will get.

Power Forward – Star

Domantas Sabonis $10,500

The Milwaukee Bucks will most likely not push Giannis Antetokounmpo even if it’s a close game. On the other hand, the Pacers are short-handed once again. The team will be without Malcolm Brogdan, Myles Turner, Edmond Sumner, Jeremy Lamb, and Aaron Holiday is questionable. Sabonis is a triple-double threat every night and had 70+ FP in three of his last seven games.

Power Forward – Value

Jaren Jackson $6,000, Xavier Tillman $4,000

Jackson would get a bump in minutes if Jonas Valancinas sits tonight against the Sacramento Kings. He did not play against the Dallas Mavericks due to rest but could finally get 30+ for this game if Valanciunas is out.

Tilman will most likely get center minutes if Valanciunas is indeed out. He should get more minutes than Brandon Clarke.

Center – Star

Nikola Jokic $10,800

The MVP frontrunner has carried the load all season and has gone above and beyond since Jamal Murray went down with a season-ending injury. The Minnesota Timberwolves are a fast-paced team and are not good defensively meaning that Jokic could be a triple-double threat once again tonight.

Center – Value

Wendell Carter $5,800

Mo Bamba is questionable tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. Carter did play 30 minutes last game against the Milwaukee Bucks. If Bamba does play, it would be ideal to pass on Carter.
