NBA DFS PICKS: It’s a nine-game slate for Monday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:30 pm EST. The Philadelphia 76ers vs. the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Lakers at the New York Knicks, the Brooklyn Nets at the Minnesota Timberwolves, the San Antonio Spurs the Orlando Magic, the Sacramento Kings at the New Orleans Pelicans, the Washington Wizards at the Utah Jazz, the Chicago Bulls at the Memphis Grizzlies, the Denver Nuggets at the Golden State Warriors, and lastly the Houston Rockets at the Phoenix Suns.

These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Monday, April 12.

POINT GUARD

STAR – De’Aaron Fox $9,500

Fox has played very well against the New Orleans Pelicans this year, and both squads play at a very high pace. He is their star on offense and has scored 30+ points in the last six of eleven games.

VALUE – Ja Morant $7,100, Facundo Campazzo $4,000

Morant’s price tag has gone down this year and seems to put up big numbers when he is very low-owned on the recent slates. There is always upside in a very good matchup like tonight against the Chicago Bulls, who play with high intensity.

He has been starting with Jamal Murray missing the last four games. If Murray sits again, Campazzo wouldn’t be a bad option if you need a cheap value play. Last game, he had 24.6 FP.

SHOOTING GUARD

STAR – Donovan Mitchell $9,000

His teammates Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson out, Mitchell will be more like a point guard tonight. He has scored 35+ points in his last three games. It’s a very good matchup against the Washington Wizards as the team struggles on defense.

VALUE – Talen Horton-Tucker $6,000, Bruce Brown $5,500, Joe Ingles $5,500

If Kyle Kuzma is out once again, Tucker has been very productive with the minute’s boost. Last game against the Brooklyn Nets, he had 14 points, three rebounds, eleven assists, and three steals in 34 minutes.

Brown will most likely be the starting point guard in today’s game and has some up and down stretches. However, in the last ten games, he has averaged 6.0 PPG, 4.4 RPG, and 1.3 APG in 17.9 minutes. He should get more minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With Conley and Clarkson ruled out, Ingles would get a lot of opportunities on offense as he is more than capable of putting up 30+ FP.

SMALL FORWARD

STAR – Kevin Durant $9,400

Durant is very cheap on this slate and could be on a minutes restriction. The Nets were involved in two straight blowouts, which forced him to play only 23 minutes and 18 minutes the other. However, the Nets are playing without James Harden and Kyrie Irving, so KD could get around 30 minutes if the game is close as the Timberwolves are a fast-paced team.

Please monitor the news for a possible minutes restriction.

VALUE – Jeff Green $5,600, Kent Bazemore $5,200

Green has shown that he could be productive when one or more of the Nets stars sit. Honestly prefer taking Bazemore at a cheaper price tag.

Bazemore will be in the starting lineup due to Kelly Oubre dealing with an injury. Bazemore played 32 minutes against the Houston Rockets and had 9 points, four assists, seven rebounds, one block, and one steal. He could get a similar number of minutes.

POWER FORWARD

STAR – Draymond Green $7,300

Green is appealing with all the injuries the Golden State Warriors are dealing with. He should get more center minutes and can do a little bit on everything on the offensive and defensive end of the court.

VALUE – Blake Griffin $4,600, Juan Toscano -Anderson $3,700

Griffin could get a minutes boost with LaMarcus Aldridge out. Griffin hasn’t played a lot with the Nets, so this is strictly a value play. Please monitor the lineup before the game.

Anderson could start at center with James Wiseman potentially out for the rest of the season. This could be another good value play if he gets the nod to start against the Nuggets.

CENTER

STAR – Karl-Anthony Towns $11,300

Towns has always been a good option when paying up for a star player. This is a good matchup in a fast-paced game, and the Nets don’t have a star center to guard Towns who can score, rebound, and dish assists.

Towns has scored 30+ points in five of the last seven games. Also, it’s hard to tell how many minutes D’Angelo Russell will get as he is coming back from an injury.

VALUE – Jonas Valanciunas $7,800, Andre Drummond $6,500

Valanciunas has been one of the main players to target when playing anyone on the Memphis Grizzlies outside of Morant. When he plays well, he can be a double-double machine. However, there are games where both of these players struggle and do not pay off the price.

Drummond did not play much against the Nets due to a blow-out. Still, he had a double-double in just 22 minutes of action. He should get around 30 minutes against the New York Knicks if the game stays close. His price should rise in the next few games.
