NBA DFS Preview Fan Duel: It’s a short slate for Tuesday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:00 pm EST. The Indiana Pacers at the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Utah Jazz at the Philadelphia 76ers, the Detriot Pistons at the Toronto Raptors, the Brooklyn Nets at the Houston Rockets, the Chicago Bulls at the New Orleans, the Charlotte Hornets at the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Atlanta Hawks at the Orlando Magic, the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors at the Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers at the Sacramento Kings.
These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Wednesday.
POINT GUARD
STAR
Kyle Lowry $8,200
The Toronto Raptors will be without some key players against the Detriot Pistons. He is a good player with the main starters Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby being ruled out for the game. Look for Lowry to carry the offense in this game.
VALUE
Jalen Brunson $5,200
There one injury to monitor for the Dallas Mavericks game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Luka Doncic is currently questionable and this would give Brunson another boost in the usage rate as he has been a huge weapon off the bench.
Brunson recorded 24 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 29 minutes off the bench in Monday’s win over the Orlando Magic.
SHOOTING GUARD
STAR
James Harden $11,200
Harden had a historic night against the San Antonio Spurs last night. Today, he will be playing against his former team the Houston Rockets in Houston. The narrative of a revenge game shouldn’t be the main reason why you should pick that player, but Harden has some bad blood with his former organization.
Harden is a good play regardless of the situation because his usage rate has been very high as of late.
This will be a fast-paced game and will most likely have a high under/over total.
VALUE
Eric Bledsoe $5400/ Terence Davis $3,500
Bledsoe was able to score in double figures for the fourth straight game while playing his usual solid perimeter defense. The price hasn’t gone up yet. He has been consistently 30+ a game.
He could the best value play at that price tag if he starts. Even if he comes off the bench, he should be able to get the mid-20s to high 20s in terms of minutes.
SMALL FORWARD
STAR
Brandon Ingram $7,800
Ingram has been on a scoring tear lately as he scored at least 23 points in each of his last six games. He had 37.3 FP last game while contributing 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists
VALUE
Norman Powell $6,800
Just like his teammate Kyle Lowry, Powell will have a ton of usage tonight against the Pistons. In a normal slate without any injuries, most players would not pay up for Powell, but this is perfect as he will get 30+ minutes.
POWER FORWARD
STAR
Zion Williamson $8,900
He was able to get second straight double-double while dishing at least five assists for the fourth straight game. He had a dominant month of February averaging 27.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
VALUE
Chris Boucher $6,600
The Pistons are known to be bad defensively against opposing big men this season. Boucher should get a boost in minutes just like the other Raptors players on this list.
CENTER
STAR
Montrezl Harrell $6,400
Harell will be starting in place of Marc Gasol due to health protocols. Kyle Kuzma is ruled out due to a heel injury. Harrell should see a boost in minutes as the Lakers have a lot of big men on the injury list.
VALUE
DeAndre Jordan $5,100
His teammate Jeff Green is doubtful against the Rockets meaning that Jordan could get a bit more minutes. The Rockets also do not have many big men as they relied on PJ Tucker and Justin Patton as Christian Wood is recovering from an ankle injury.
