It’s a much larger slate with eleven games tonight on this slate for Wednesday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:00 pm EST. Detroit Pistons at Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets at Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets at Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns at Orlando Magic, Memphis Grizzlies at Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers at San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks at Sacramento Kings, and finally Brooklyn Nets at Utah Jazz.
These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Wednesday, March 24.
STAR – Trae Young $8,700, Terry Rozier $7,000
The Atlanta Hawks taking on the Sacramento Kings has the highest total on the slate because both teams play at such a high pace.
With LaMelo Ball out for the remainder of the season, Rozier did not disappoint against the San Antonio Spurs, getting 24 points, six assists, three rebounds, two steals, and a block. He will get a bump in his usage even with a bad shooting night.
VALUE – T.J. McConnell $5,000, Tomas Satoransky $4,800
Malcolm Brogdon is questionable for tonight’s game which would make McConnell the starter. During the last three games, he has been productive when given additional minutes. During that span, McConnell is averaging 14.0 PPG, 9.5 APG, 4.0 RPG, and 2.0 steals while shooting 73.7 percent from the floor over 25.5 minutes per game. Please monitor Brogdon’s injury.
He’s going to be in the starting lineup and has been solid since being inserted in the starting lineup on March 14, averaging 9.8 PPG, 6.5 APG, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 52 percent from the field over his last six games.
STAR – James Harden $11,300
Harden finished the night by getting 60.9 FP and a near triple-double against the Portland Trail Blazers. With Irving being out due to personal reasons once again, he will need to have a higher usage rate in these next few games in order to win these upcoming games.
VALUE – Devonte Graham $5,000, Bruce Brown $5,000
He disappointed against the Spurs but should get more opportunities if he can knock down his shots. The pace of the game will be much faster against the Houston Rockets. Graham is too cheap for a guy who can play more than 30 minutes in this game.
With Kyrie Irving and Landry Shamet out again, Bruce Brown should get his minutes as he did not play in the 4th quarter against the Trail Blazers.
STAR – Khris Middleton $7,400, Gordon Hayward $7,000
If Giannis Antetokounmpo is out once again, Middleton and Jrue Holiday would be good options if you are going to play anyone on the Milwaukee Bucks. If Giannis is in, Middleton would not be as appealing.
Hayward did have a good game against the Spurs with Ball out for the rest of the season. He should have a similar stat line against the struggling Rockets.
VALUE – Joe Harris $5,000
Not much interest in Harris, but Irving’s minutes have to be redistributed among the Nets players. He needs to have a number of shots from the three-point range to pay off his price tag.
STAR – Domantas Sabonis $8,800, Pascal Siakam $7,900
Sabonis recorded three double-doubles in a row and fell just one board short of reaching that feat once again; he still produced a strong line across the board against the Milwaukee Bucks. He is listed as a power forward on FanDuel but should get center minutes if Myles Turner is out tonight, which makes Sabonis very appealing.
The Detroit Pistons are terrible against opposing bigs and are a horrible defensive team.
Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that the Raptors are engaged in trade talks in regards to both Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell. If they do sit, Siakam would get a ton of interest against the Denver Nuggets.
VALUE – Daniel Theis $5,300, Jeff Green $4,600
With Tristian Thompson out once again, Theis has gotten 25+ FP points in four of his last five games. Theis was able to score in double digits for the third straight game in Boston’s overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Most of his production comes when he doesn’t play alongside Thompson.
Green started off hot then cooled off in terms of getting fantasy points. If you need a cheap player, he wouldn’t be that bad of an option.
STAR – Christian Wood $8,100
Wood is said to be on a minutes restriction but has been playing a lot anyway. The Charlotte Hornets are another team that is not good against opposing big men, which helps Wood in this matchup. Wood would have reached 30 minutes had he not gotten into early foul trouble against the Toronto Raptors.
VALUE – DeAndre Ayton $6,200, Ivica Zubac $5,000
Ayton is starting to look like his old self again as he got a monster double-double against the Miami Heat. He got 17 points and 16 rebounds to go along with three assists and three blocks. He is starting to get his minutes back.
Zubac has been a productive player, as seen in his last game against the Atlanta Hawks. He got 33.3 FP on 12 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks.
