Kentucky Prep Races are coming to a  close as the Derby is about a month away. On April 3rd the Blue Grass Stakes and the Santa Anita Derby along ith the Wood Memorial will be held. We have the odds ready for you and our picks to win. There are three more Kentucky Prep Races after this weekend before the Kentucky Derby in early May.

Here is a look at the 2021 Kentucky Prep Races known as  Blue Grass Stakes field:

Our Pick: Without a doubt this Kentucky Prep Race goes to Essential Quality. This horse has already won a few Grade 2 races. The Son of Tapit edges out Highly Motivated for the win. 

Kentucky Prep Races

The Santa Anita Derby began in 1935 as the first and only avenue for West Coast horses to qualify for the Kentucky Derby. It is a Grade 1 race for three year old to run at the distance of 1 1/8 mile on dirt. this race ha a $400,ooo purse and is in Arcadia, California.
