Grand Falls Casino Will Be Expanding Their Sports Betting Industry In The Next Month

The Marketing Director of Grand Falls Casino, Damon John announced some new happenings at the casino. John said the September handle at the casino was $1.1 million, in October it was $1.3, and in November it was $2 milion. John said the numbers are steadily growing, and he and the rest of the staff are optimistic about the future. John has a theory for the increased numbers, he said, “We attribute most of that to it being a new product in the market.

So everyone is excited more and more people are finding out about it. It’s also a prime time for sports betting. We have the NFL playoffs, the Super Bowl. college basketball is just around the corner, so we are in full swing.” John said the entire area of Grand Falls will be available for people to place sports bets.

Betfred Sports Sportsbook Will Be Coming To Grand Falls Casino This Winter

John said, “very soon we will be opening up the Betfred Sports Sportsbook at Grand Falls Casino. The area the sportsbook will be located at is where the hotel lounge was at. It’s a very very large high tech Vegas-style sportsbook that we will have. So naturally, we are all really excited about that. I think the sky’s the limit on sports betting here in this market. We do expect it to grow substantially in the next few months and beyond.”

People in nearby Kansas and Missouri still don’t have sports betting, so they have been regularly crossing state lines to place their sports bets in Iowa. Brothers Winky and Dwight Bush, regularly come from their home in Emporia, Kansas, to their favorite casino Horseshoe in Iowa. They said they get their rooms free, so it’s worth the three-plus hour drive.’
