Andrew Jones- MLB Draft Prospect

Baseball, MLB article at Knup Sports

Andrew Jones is a prospect that has a major league pedigree. His father, also Andrew Jones, was a star outfielder for the Atlanta Braves. At 6’3″ and 190 lbs. the son is an explosive talent . His skills start with the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field and muscle up for a big swat to the pull side. He uses his lower half very well when hitting the ball. He barrels up the pitches very well and  the bat alone will get him a top pick and considered a five tool player.

However, in the field he has a plus arm and great speed. Jones projects to continue as a center fielder at the next level. He bats right handed and has shown improvement each year of organized baseball. Currently Andrew Jones, called Druw, is a senior in high school attending Wesleyan High School in Georgia.

Look for him to get picked in the 5-10 range of the first round.
