Obviously, at this point, we know and sure you know – the Major League Baseball season – along with everything in this country is on hold. There will be baseball again, but for now, it’s on hold. Meanwhile, while getting ready for the season, we thought we would give you some things to think about.  Here are a few things to watch out for as the MLB season is set to begin:

Can Astros Win Without Cheating?

Fans in Spring Training were not been kind to the Houston Astros, and it’s safe to say that things won’t improve much when the real games begin. Houston Astros players were spared a suspension by commissioner Rob Manfred, but the league can’t do much to protect them from the taunting and signs they will face on the road.

The real question is if the Astros can win without cheating this season, or if the last few years were a result of stealing signs. Houston is looking for their third World Series appearance in four seasons, but they have some extra pressure headed into this season. If the Astros don’t get off to a great start in 2020, you can bet that the questions will start to become louder.

Will Dodgers Finally Win it All?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been the best team in the National League over the last four seasons. The Dodgers also have not won a World Series title since 1988. Los Angeles will try to continue being one of the best team in the NL, and cap it off with a championship this season.

The Dodgers made a trade for outfielder Mookie Betts, who is a former MVP in the American League. Los Angeles also brought in lefthander David Price as a part of their deal, and they kept the rest of their lineup intact. The Dodgers should roll through the regular season, but it’s time for them to show what they are made of in the playoffs.

Can Yankees Stay Healthy?

The 2019 season for the New York Yankees was marred by injuries, and it looks as if 2020 will be much of the same. The Yankees have already lost ace Luis Severino to Tommy John surgery, and James Paxton is going to start the season on the injured list as well. Finding a way to keep Gerrit Cole healthy will be a huge key for this team.

The lineup will also look different on Opening Day as several starters will be out. Aaron Hicks could be out until June, while Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge are both expected to miss the season opener. New York is the favorite to win the American League, but they have to keep their stars on the field.
