Not a bad night as each of the affiliates won their game and the Cardinals were victorious against the Dodgers.

Memphis Did Not Play- Josh Zeid (2-1, 6.80 RBI) will take the hill for a home game on Thursday.
Springfield Cardinals defeated Corpus Christi 5-4. The offense was led by Casey Grayson with two hits and 2 runs batted in along with 2 hits from Adolis Garcia. Dakota Hudson (3-2) notched the win with seven strong innings allowing six hits and two earned runs. Chandler Hawkins picked up his 4th hold of the year with one inning and one hit along with one run allowed. Tyler Bray got his first save with a scoreless 9th inning. The game last 2 hours and 21 minutes in front of 2.960 Hammons Field fans.

Palm Beach got excellent starting pitching from Derian Gonzalez as he went seven innings and gave up three hits and no earned runs while walking one and fanning six Lakeland batters. The offense managed seven hits as Tommy Edman and Randy Arozarena each drove in a row for the Cardinals. The game lasted 2 hours and 12 minutes with 1,269 in attendance. Ryan Helsley (4-2, 3.50 ERA) gets the ball for the Thursday 7PM home start.
Peoria was victorious 7-5 over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Wednesday. Jose Martinez had 3 hits, Stefan Trosclair and Juan Yepez each had two along with Yepez’s second home run of the year. Andy Young was riding four consecutive games with a home run and drove in two runs but without a long ball. Ryan McCarvel also drove in two runs.
Chiefs pitchers fanned eleven Wisconsin batters as Mike O’Reilly got the win (3-1) with six innings and three earned runs allowed. Frederis Parra allowed two runs in 0.2 innings of work. Eric Canter and Brady Bowen each had scoreless work from the mound.
The Big Club
It was a nice win for the Cardinals defeating the Dodgers 2-1. This time the great pitching of Carlos Martinez was not wasted as he went eight strong innings. The offense saw Dexter Fowler homer in the bottom half of the 8th inning and Oh finished the game for a win
