UFC 259 Amanda Nunes VS Megan Anderson
UFC 259: Amanda Nunez Preview
Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes is the reigning women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion and has had no problem defending her belt in any of her recent fights. She is widely considered the best female fighter in the sport’s history. She is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Felicia Spencer and has won eleven fights in a row.
She displays a strong game in the grappling department and is known for her powerful takedowns. On the ground, she is hard to escape due to her ground and pounds, and her striking ability. This could be her last fight at 145 pounds and could spell trouble for the division because no one is really deserving of a title fight if she does win.

It would be insane to take Nunez by ML; however, there is one decent prop to keep an eye on. Honestly, Anderson won’t be able to knock out Nunes in any scenario because she is unlike any opponent Anderson has faced. If you had to take a bet on this fight consider the over/under to be the safest bet.
Prediction: Total number of rounds over 1.5 -110
UFC 259 Blachowicz VS Adesanya
The current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will make his light heavyweight debut as he gets an immediate title shot against Jan Blachowicz. The” Last Stylebender” is a sizeable favorite despite not bulking up to up a whole class. Adesanya jokingly stated that will not be ordering Uber Eats or any desserts this week in Vegas to add pounds for the clash this Saturday in the UFC APEX.
Jan Blachowicz claimed the vacant title as Jon Jones stepped away from the UFC. “John” did not disappoint as he used his polish power to get a second-round knockout victory over Dominick Reyes.
UFC 259: Israel Adesanya Preview
As a pro fighter, Adesanya has yet to lose a fight in his career. He won his 20th career fight in September when he scored an easy econd-round TKO win over Paulo Costa. He is 9-0 since joining the UFC back in 2018.
He is a terrific kickboxer, and his swift kicks pack a lot of power. He is known to taunt fighters in the octagon.
Look for him to be around 185-193 pounds by the time weigh-ins start. Adesayna has been very confident giving the weight advantage to his opponent. He said in an interview, “If I fought a guy that was 300 pounds, I could probably still beat him… “But there’s a problem if he grabs me and decides to pin on me.”

UFC 259: Jan Blachowicz Preview
Jan Blachowicz didn’t have a hot start in the UFC, but he has turned it around, winning eight of his last nine fights. The dubbed polish power is not something to overlook as he is a strong technical striker. He is also an underrated in grappling as he has nine submissions on his resume.

Blachowicz might not have a size advantage in this fight, but he will have the edge in power. However, its hard to say power will play that big of a part.
Adesanya has 15 knockouts in his career, but with that in mind, expect Blachowicz to be sound defensively;thus, not exposing his chin.
Prediction: Israel Adesanya via decision +250.
