UFC Octagon Check-in

There’s no doubt that Jon Jones and Conor McGregor or two of the UFC octagons most notable stars. These two athletes have propelled the or to greater heights and made it better internationally known.

Despite their efforts and previous achievements, these two legends of the game haven’t been seen for several months. Wonderments about their whereabouts I decided to grab an update on these two high-level fighters.

McGregor’s Moves

McGregor has lost his last two fights against Dustin Poitier, a former light heavyweight champion and currently the number two ranked UFC fighter lightweight division. These two losses have placed a pause in McGregor‘s fighting as he sustained a leg injury during their last fight.

The last time we saw Conor McGregor in the UFC octagon was in 2021 and fans can only ask when will they see the return of Mr. Notorious back in the ring. Conor McGregor was most recently seen in Ibiza celebrating his 34th birthday.

It’s no doubt that once the champ heals from his leg injury, he will be one of the top competitors in the lightweight division. With this time off fans can only speculate how it has affected his game as his physical appearance seems to have grown.

Jon Jones Return

UFC octagon

Jon Jones is no stranger to controversy as he has been in the news relating to The planning of his upcoming fight as the UFC is making arrangements to place Jon Jones on display once again. Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic is currently one of the most anticipated UFC octagon bouts to date as Miocic is a skills fighter who was last seen in 2021 as well when he lost his fight by knockout to Francis Ngannou.

Francis is an absolute beast and is the current heavyweight champion of the UFC and Miocic was able to hold his own so the idea that Jon Jones would be facing a powerhouse like Miocic is insane. The controversy arose when one of Jon Jones’s peers spoke out about his inability to produce a knockout punch.

Everybody who knows Jones complements him on his skill and he is well deserving of an honorable mention when noticing the top fighters in the UFC octagon. Jon Jones is tall athletic strong and fast he is complimented on his versatility as he will find any way to destroy his opponent. The one skill that is lacking in Jon Jones is his knockout ability, as it is perceived that he cannot knock his own out especially in the heavyweight class in one single stroke.

We have yet to see if the one great UFC champ Jon Jones is still up to the task and competing in the UFC and as a fan, we can only wonder if he can produce the same entertaining fights as he used to. Jon ‘Bones’ Jones used to be one of the most electric fighters in the UFC and I would love to see another performance by him soon within the upcoming months.
