This is a unique race. It is so new it is difficult to figure out which drivers may run well. This is an elimination race to conclude the Round of 16. The course features both characteristics of a road course and it is partially oval. This is a new concept for NASCAR. The race will be a distance of 500 miles and will take place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on an asphalt track. The race is scheduled for Sunday at 2 pm ET and it being televised on NBC.

The defending champion is Martin Truex, Jr . with Chase Elliott in second and Kevin Harvick getting third. That race was on a regular oval track. As we study this race, we have a few favorites we will suggest for bettors to place some money. Kyle Busch won last weekend at the Richmond Speedway and blew by the others have being placed in the back for an infraction. He took over with 38 laps remaining and fought off Kevin Harvick for the win. In winning the race, he now has 50 wins in the Cup Series. Busch, Keselowski, and Harvick have already qualified to move on to the next round.
