In the NBA Draft, you generally either find talent that’s been widely overlooked in the 20s, or guys that may never see an NBA court.
Current players like Jimmy Butler, Rudy Gobert, Pascal Siakam and Caris LeVert have found themselves in the 20s in recent drafts, as all four guys have proven they can play at an extremely high level.

2021 NBA Mock Draft Picks 21-30
Nikola Jokic, this year’s MVP, was drafted in the 40s! If you have the right scouts, you’ll find talent at any point in the draft.
Here’s a look at some players who teams may be eyeing at this point in the draft.
21. New York Knicks – Jaden Springer SG
Jaden Springer’s not a 3-point shooter by any means, but he can make them if open. He’s able to create his own shot pretty well and can be a disruptor on the defensive side of the ball.
22. Los Angeles Lakers – Tre Mann PG
Tre Mann is a crafty scorer at the point guard position. Not an explosive athlete, can use his dribble to drive to the rim and get defenders off balance.
23. Houston Rockets – Isaiah Jackson PF/C
Isaiah Jackson is an athletic big who can blow by defenders with his quick first step and defend well in the paint with his ability to protect the rim and block shots.
He is a raw prospect that will need time to develop, but if a team is patient with him, he will see regular minutes in the NBA one day.
24. Houston Rockets – Jalen Johnson SF/PF
Wouldn’t be a surprise to see Jalen Johnson get drafted much higher, but his lack of 3-point shooting at the wing position coupled with supposed attitude problems may give some teams pause.
Still, he possesses great playmaking and quickness on drive opportunities, giving him the qualities to be a good point forward. If a team is willing to be patient with him and work through his weaknesses, this pick will be a steal.
25. Los Angeles Clippers – Rokas Jokubaitis PG
Rokas Jokubaitis displays tremendous IQ at the point guard position. Terrific in the pick-and-roll and can also shoot. Good fit for the Clippers, as he can be the floor general they’re seeking during this title window.
26. Denver Nuggets – Joshua Primo PG
Joshua Primo has a nice shooting stroke and shown he can effectively find open spaces along the perimeter. Doesn’t force the action either. Nice fit for a Jokic-led team.
27. Brooklyn Nets – Cameron Thomas SG
Cameron Thomas is considered one of the best scorers in this draft class with his shooting and driving abilities, but isn’t quite a playmaker nor presence on defense.
The Nets can afford to take a chance on him and let him develop on their G-League team though, and hope that they can get him to improve his all-around game.
28. Philadelphia 76ers – Miles McBride PG
Miles McBride brings good scoring and athleticism as well as a scrappy defensive presence. Every good team needs a guard that plays with this type of intensity.
29. Phoenix Suns – Sharife Cooper PG
Sharife Cooper has great speed, quickness, ball-handling and passing skills at the point guard position. The Suns love running the ball and possessing guards who can give you a bit of everything.
30. Utah Jazz – Ayo Dosunmu PG/SG
Ayo Dosnmu has great court vision and a quick first step. Crafty finisher at the rim as well. Jazz could use help with perimeter defense next season, as Dosunmu can help with that, no doubt about it!
