The NBA is about 32 games in its season; it may be harder to call a player a legit “snub,” but these are some of the players who could have made it
Devin Booker will not be on this as he replaced Anthony Davis, who is suffering from a calf strain. He will be joining his Pheonix Suns teammate Chris Paul.
Lets take a look at the NBA All-Star snubs.
TRAE YOUNG
The All-Star Game will be taking State at Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Atlanta Hawks. It must be heartbreaking for Hawks fans not to see their franchise player representing the team on their home court. This one was honestly a head-scratcher when you strictly look at the numbers Young has put up this season.
He is averaging 27.0 PPG and 9.6 APG, and 4.0 RPG. Opposing teams have a difficult time limiting the number of attempts he gets from the free-throw line.
DOMANTAS SABONIS
For the last spot in the East reserve front court, it came down to Julius Randle or Sabonis. Sabonis is 21.5 PPG, 5.7 APG, and 11.6 RPG. Without Randle, the Knicks would most likely be way down in the standings, looking at another top 10 lottery pick. Under the new leadership coach Tom Thibodeau, Randle has blossomed into a star.
Compared to his All-Star year a season ago, Sabonis is undoubtedly a better player this season. It may have come down to usage rate and production as the Indiana Pacers have more offensive weapons than the New York Knicks do.
TOBIAS HARRIS
The Philadephia Sixers have the best record in the Eastern Conference with a 22-11, which sent both Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, along with their coach Doc Rivers to the All-Star Game. Harris has been a vital part of their efforts to hold the East’s best record, especially with the Brooklyn Nets in the same division.
Harris is averaging 20.7 PPG, 3.4 APG, and 7.7 RPG. He is also shooting over 51% from the field, 41.5% from downtown, and 89% from the charity stripe.

MIKE CONLEY
Being on a team with the best record in the Western Conference and the league, Conley was a key contributor to the Wild West’s accomplishment. With Anthony Davis not being able to play, it is believed that the potential replacement came down to Devin Booker or him due to the conference.
He has been averaging 16.3 PPG, 5.7 AST, and 3.6 REB. He is also shooting 38.7% from deep. Conley was so close to making his first All-Star appearance joining his teammates Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell and his coach Synder.
His statistics on paper don’t tell his whole story of what he does on the court. He plays well with whoever is on the court, whether Allstars or no stars on the court, as shown in the estimated plus-minus category.
This could be the best version of Conley in his long NBA career. The pick-and-roll, dishing the rock, playing off the off-ball, shooting accuracy, and his defensive IQ are all the reasons why the Jazz have been so successful.
