NBA DFS: Fanduel Picks 26 March 2021: It’s back to a much longer night with an eleven-game slate for Friday’s NBA schedule tipping off at 7:00 pm EST.

It is the day after the NBA trade deadline, so many teams will be short-handed. The Brooklyn Nets at the Detroit Pistons, the Phoenix Suns at the Toronto Raptors, the Boston Celtics at the Milwaukee Bucks, the Miami Heat at the Charlotte Hornets, the Denver Nuggets at the New Orleans Pelicans, the Houston Rockets at the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Portland Trail Blazers at the Orlando Magic, the Indiana Pacers at the Dallas Mavericks, the Memphis Grizzlies at the Utah Jazz, the Atlanta Hawks at the Golden State Warriors, and finally the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Los Angeles Lakers.

These are my NBA FANDUEL DFS picks for this Friday, March 26.

POINT GUARD

STAR – John Wall $8,200

With Victor Oladipo no longer on the team, the Houston Rockets will look to Wall to carry the offense against a Timberwolves team who are also struggling. This should be a close game, and Wall should get more minutes, unlike Thursday against the Hornets.

VALUE – Chris Chiozza $5,200, Dennis Smith $5,000

If Harden does end up sitting, this will make Chiozza a bigger target as he was productive against the Utah Jazz when he was given 28 minutes. He had 10 points and 11 rebounds to go along with two steals.

Smith should be able to play even though he is questionable. A trade went down, which means Cory Joseph will not be available for tonight’s game. Smith should be able to get 30 minutes.

SHOOTING GUARD

STAR – James Harden $11,300, CJ McCollum $7,500

Harden is questionable against the Detroit Pistons. With Kyrie Irving still out due to personal reasons, James Harden has had an even higher usage rate. The Pistons are not a good defensive team, but please monitor Harden’s injury.

If you can’t pay up Harden, McCollum wouldn’t be a bad option. He played 37 minutes against the Heat and had 35 points and eight assists. The Trail Blazers no longer have Gary Trent Jr and Rodney Hood traded, and Norman Powell will not be available to play against the Orlando Magic.

VALUE – Nickell Alexander- Walker $5,300, Devonte Graham $5,100

Walker is a good value play if Lonzo Ball sits again. Walker has been productive these last two games, getting 33.1 and 29.9 FP and playing 30+ minutes in this short stretch.

He finally had a good game against the Houston Rockets and played only 25 minutes due to a blowout. Graham should get more minutes with LaMelo out for the remainder of the year.

SMALL FORWARD

STAR – Kelly Oubre $7,500, Larry Nance $6,500

Oubre cooled off a bit after his great performance against the Sacramento Kings. With Stephen Curry ruled out and possibly Draymond Green missing another game, the Atlanta Hawks would be another good matchup for Oubre because it will be a fast-paced game.

If Collin Sexton is out again, Nance did have a good game against the Chicago Bulls, getting 14 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.

VALUE – Daniel House $5,500

If Kevin Porter does not play tonight, House could see a few more minutes against the Timberwolves.

POWER FORWARD

STAR – Pascal Siakam $7,900

Siakam, at his price point, still feels very cheap as the Raptors will be missing a few places due to a trade. Siakam did have 50.6 FP against the Denver Nuggets a couple of nights ago.

VALUE – Khem Birch $4,800, Trevor Ariza $4,500

The Orlando Magic will be short-handed as they take on the Trail Blazers. The Magic made a ton of trades which shipped off five of their key players. They did get a few players back, but they should be unavailable.

Ariza did not have a good game, but he did get the minutes as the Heat could be a bit short-handed tonight.

CENTER

STAR – Nikola Jokic $10,500, Bam Adebayo $8,000

Had a triple-double against the fast-faced New Orleans Pelicans in their last meeting. He had 57 FP points and should have similar success.

Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic were ruled out against the Portland Trail Blazers. Adebayo had 63.3 FP with a crazy stat sheet. He had 29 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and five blocks in 31 minutes.

If Butler and Dragic are out, the Miami Heat would have a nine-man rotation as they traded for Victor Oladipo. If Butler and Dragic do play, I would play one of the players listed below even though the matchup is good for Bam.

VALUE – DeAndre Ayton $6,500, Robert Williams $6,000

These last three games, Ayton has been getting his minutes back. He nearly got a double-double against the Orlando Magic and will probably get 30+ tonight against the Toronto Raptors.

Tristan Thompson is still out due to an injury, and Daniel Theis is no longer on the team as he was traded to the Chicago Bulls. Moritz Wagner should not be available to play yet. Williams is pretty much their only active big man.
