Nets vs Pacers Pick: The Brooklyn Nets will travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday as they try to increase their winning streak to six games. The Nets have won 13 of their last 14 games and are second in the Eastern Conference.
The Indiana Pacers have lost 7 of their last 10 games and are sitting in third in the Central Division.
Inside the Nets
The Nets have been on a tear since they beat the Indiana Pacers in early February. When the Nets won that game they had a 15-12 season record but now they have brought that up to 27-13. Steve Nash’s team have definitely made a name for themselves as true championship contenders.
The Nets defeated the New York Knicks 117-112 in their last matchup. James Harden scored his 10th triple-double and Kyrie put up 34 points to get the Nets the win. The Nets have now played 12 games without Kevin Durant as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
New Nets member Bake Griffin still hasn’t seen the court as Steve Nash does not want to rush him into the lineup since Blake hasn’t played much in a while.
James Harden’s game this season is on an elite level and he has easily meshed with his team and been very effective in his role as a facilitator. Harden is averaging a career-high 11.3 assists and 9.1 rebounds per game this season for the Nets. He has also been scoring 25.1 points per game.
The Nets have shown that their addition of James Harden has worked in their favor as Brooklyn is still able to dominate without Kevin Durant.

Inside the Pacers
The Indiana Pacers have lost their rhythm and haven’t had a great start since the All-Star break. They beat the solid Phoenix Suns but couldn’t bring that energy to their next game against the Nuggets and lost 106-121.
That loss brought their record down to 17-21 but they are ranked tenth in the East and are still in playoff contention. The Pacer’s new signing Caris LeVert made his debut against the Suns scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.
In his second game against the Nuggets, he put up 17 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. The Suns signed him at the right time as they need to find someone to take charge. If the Pacers play to their full potential they could come out with an underdog win.
Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon has been amazing this season. He has a career-high 21.6 points per game. Malcolm will have the challenge of guarding James Harden and must lower his threat level as he runs the Nets offense to have any chance of winning.

Spread: Nets -1.5
Over/Under: 235 Points
Money line: Nets -120, Pacers +100
The Brooklyn Nets are the favorite and the Pacers are capable of playing well against strong teams. The Nets should keep that in the back of their head and not give up anything easy to Pacers. My prediction is the Brooklyn Nets and they will definitely cover the spread.
