Tonight, The Golden State Warriors (11-10) will be squaring off against the Dallas Mavericks (9-13) at American Airlines Center at 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, I will be sharing with you my picks and predictions for the heavily anticipated matchup.
Odds, Spread, and Lines
- Last updated: 11:08 a.m.
- Moneyline: Mavericks (-145), Warriors (+124)
- Against the spread: Mavericks -3 (-110), Warriors +3 (-108)
- Over/Under: 228.5 (O -110), (U -110)
Kevon Looney (Ankle) – Out indefinitely
James Wiseman (Wrist) – Out indefinitely
Kristaps Porzingis (Knee) – Doubtful
The Mavericks took six straight losses before beating the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. They face an uphill climb returning to their home arena Thursday night facing a tough Warriors team.
The Warriors have won three out of their last five and are trending towards being a legitimate playoff contender. Taking a loss at home vs. the stacked roster of the Boston Celtics was of course tough, but an early learning lesson for the remainder of the season.

Warriors vs Mavericks Betting Predictions and Picks
Warriors 127, Mavericks 118
Expect the Warriors to put on an offensive clinic against the Mavericks Thursday evening. The Mavericks are allowing roughly 109 points per game, while the Warriors are putting up 112 points per game. A risky pick taking the Warriors at (+124), but note that the opening line was at (+136).
Against the Spread (ATS)
Vegas set the line at 3, anticipating a close matchup to come down to the wire and be won on a buzzer-beater or miraculous shot. Expect Golden State to take control of the game early in the fourth quarter and never let go. Be prepared for Warriors superstar, Stephen Curry to take full advantage of the Mavericks sloppy defense and drop bombs from way beyond the arc.
The over/under for the game is set at a high number of 228.5 for a reason. Vegas wants you, the bettor, to think this may hit the under. It will not. Expect both superstars, Luka Doncic and Stephen Curry to go back and forth in nailing 3-pointers.
Free Pick: Warriors +3.5 (Buy the half point if given the opportunity)
