The oddsmakers have released the over/under win totals for each NBA team. After four consecutives seasons, the Golden State Warriors no longer are projected to garner the most wins this season. Carefully paying attention can be a help when betting the NBA

Let’s take a look at the win totals and our picks for over/under on each team.

Win Totals

Atlanta Hawks 34.5- There is a good nucleus here with Trae Young, DeAndre Hunter and Cam Reddish and I believe they are six game better (29 last year).  OVER

Boston Celtics 48.5- The cohesivness is there but the question on the floor will be the play of Gordon Haywaed. Look for confidence in this team and they go OVER.

Brooklyn Nets 44.5- Kyrie isn’t and doesn’t do well as the main man on a team. He will have to wait until Durant shows up to feel comfortable. UNDER

Charlotte Hornets 24- No Kemba, few wins. UNDER

Chicago Bulls 30.5- Wendell Carter and Lauri Markkanen must remain healthier than last season and the drafting of Coby White puts this team a slightly higher pafeau than last year. OVER

Cleveland Cavaliers 24- Collin Sexton is ready to expand his role for the team but nothing is left to help out. Under

Dallas Mavericks 41- Fully healed from a torn ACL, Kristaps Porzingis is expected to suit up this coming season along with Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic makes this team a bit more formidable. This team has some good talent which makes this one close. OVER

Denver Nuggets 52- Jerami Grant and Michael Porter now have some playoff experience to rely on. This team will get there again. OVER

Detroit Pistons 37.5- Blake Griffin has a good 75 games and now Andre Drummond and Luke Kennard must grab some help. This team doesn’t have good bench players. UNDER

Golden State Warriors 47- Look who is gone. Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston are all gone while Klay Thompson‘s left ACL has yet to fully heal. That leaves them with Steph Curry who isn’t too bad and Draymond Green. A few pieces will halp them get over this win mark asKevon Looney proved valuable in the playoffs and the signing of Willie Cauley Stein certainly makes them better. OVER

Houston Rockets 52- James Harden and Russell Westbrook get a good start to the season. Shouldn’t have any issues getting wins. OVER

Indiana Pacers 48.5- Myles Turner needs to turn it up a bit but coupled with Victor Oladipo this team won 48 games last year. Look for Domantis Sabonis and TJ Warren to push them towards more wins. OVER

LA Clippers 55.5- There are several weapons on this team but the fact that they added Paul George and Kawhi Leonard without sacrificing any pieces is significant. OVER

Los Angeles Lakers 51.5- Lebron James has played 17 seasons as he suffered from the most injuries and missed games of his career. Is that a trend? Will Anthony Davis place center for LA? DeMarcus Cousins can be a help but he is involved in an investigation of abuse that the league is looking into. This one is close but going the OVER route.

Memphis Grizzlies 25.5- Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson, Jr. are stars in the making but they will have plenty of low moments in their growth. Brandon Clarke was Summer League MVP but still….. UNDER

Miami Heat 43.5- The Heat had severl good players but needed someone to lead. This is the time for new arrival Jimmy Butler to take the veteran role and get this team more wins. OVER

Milwaukee Bucks 57- This team added Robin Lopez, Wesley Matthews and Kyle Korver along with defensive specialist Eric Bledsoe. If Giannis Antetokounmpo is anywhere close to 100%, this team may make it to the last day of the season. OVER

Minnesota Timberwolves 35- Karl Anthony-Towns is a special kind of player but there is not enough help to get excited about this team. UNDER

New Orleans Pelicans 39- It will take almost all season for this team to figure out how to win without Anthony Davis. With that said, the newcomers are numerous with Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram on the court. Add top pick Zion Williamson and veteran Jrue Holiday and this team will be solid…someday. UNDER

New York Knicks 27- Lots of young players like Julius Randle, RJ Barrett and Kevin Knox make this a team that must learn on the go. UNDER

Oklahoma City Thunder 31- They still have an aging Chris Paul who puts up decent numbers. They don’t have the star power this year but expect Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari to begin to shine. The number has been set low so expect a tick above that. OVER

Orlando Magic 40.5- This team has several 3-point shooters and actually use their defense to keep in the game. Markelle Fultz, DJ Augustin, Jonathan Isaac, Al-Farouq Aminu and Aaron Gordon along with All-Star Nikola Vucevic and Terrence Ross makes this a formidable team.  OVER

Philadelphia 76’ers  54.5- The window for this team seems to flucuate every season.  Now, they are getting new players again with Joh Richardson and Al Horford coming in to team with Al Horford. Look for Tobias Harris to get some chances he hasn’t gotten before and Ben Simmons is hoping his good years don’t get wasted. It’s the health of Joel Embiid that is of most concern. If healthy, look for them to win. OVER

Phoenix Suns 27- Deandre Ayton was the top pick to play with Devin Booker. The suns likely overpaid for Ricky Rubio but they got better and the defense is better with Kelly Oubre Jr. and Mikal Bridges but the wins are sparse for another season. UNDER

Portland Trail Blazers 47.5- Why so low? The backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum will continue to put pressure on even the best of defenses. The team won 53 last year. OVER

Sacramento Kings 37- New coach, new attitude. The main issue here is all the really good teams are on the West Coast. The players are good and De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield each had times of improvement. Marvin Bagley III and Harrison Barnes make this better that the win total. OVER

San Antonio Spurs 43.5- Remember when they were rally good? That was just a mere few years ago. DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge aren’t three point shooters. I am in a minority but I don’t get it. UNDER

Toronto Raptors 45- The mighty have fallen. The reigning champions lost Kawhi Leonard who was their star. Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowrey along with Marc Gasol still have it in them but not a championship. OVER

Utah Jazz 52.5- Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic got the best compliment to their style with Mike Conley. I do believe they overachieved last year and were 17th in scoring. UNDER

Washington Wizards 27.5- This is another team that faded quickly. But if John Wall is healthy and Bradley Beal is only in his mid-20’s, the Wizards with Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant upfront. Defenses have them figure out. UNDER
