Former New England Patriots wide receiver and Super Bowl LIII MVP Julian Edeleman tweeted that he is returning to the National Football League on a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay has had a crazy offseason, first with the retirement and un-retirement of legendary quarterback Tom Brady, then most recently Bruce Arians stepping down to allow Todd Bowles to take over as head coach of the team.
Antonio Brown also remains confused as to why teams are not offering him a big-money deal similar to the likes of Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill, so perhaps the Bucs would be interested in bringing him back… if they ever figure out which tunnel he ran out of.
Okay, okay, the tweet is, in all likelihood, a farce. But hey, it would be cool to see Edeleman back in action in the Pats’ retirement home— I mean, Tampa Bay.
