Green Bay Preview: Rodgers and Adams, An Amazing Duo
The Green Bay Packers, now 4-1, are looking like one of the greatest teams in the entire league. Aaron Rodgers has already thrown for over 1200 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. He is playing at a very elite level and is absolutely carrying this Packers offense. Davante Adams, one of the best receivers in the league, if not the best, is also playing at a very elite level. Over the past 5 games, Davante Adams has secured roughly 600 yards and 2 touchdowns. The two are not a force to be reckoned with.
On the other side of the ball, Jaire Alexander, star cornerback on the Packers, has been sent to IR for a shoulder injury. His status for this game is out and potentially many games to come. The Packers defense has been a point of weakness. Therefore, they must improve their pass defense and run defense to stop the Chicago Bears.
Chicago Preview: Is the QB Situation Settled?
Over the past few weeks, Chicago has been very unsettling in the quarterback position. Andy Dalton, Nick Foles, or Justin Fields have all three been candidates for the quarterback position. However, the Bears declared that Fields was the starter. In his last 4 games, Fields has thrown for 458 yards, only 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions. His rookie season has not been great and he’s off to a very slow start.
On the defensive side, the Bears are top twelve in yards allowed. Their defense is playing very well and is the reason why the Bears are able to stay in these close games with formidable opponents. The Bears shut down Derek Carr to only two hundred passing yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. Carr played easily his worst game of the season. The Bears defense must play well if they want to win against the Packers.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game
The current spread is at 5.5, favoring the Green Bay Packers. Personally, I believe the Packers run away with it. The Packers offense will be too much for the Bears defense and Aaron Rodgers will light it up in Soldier Field.
In terms of the MoneyLine, again I believe the Packers are a lock.
