Bengals Preview: Looking to Secure a Playoff Spot

Since 2015, almost 7 years ago, the Cincinnati Bengals have failed to make the playoffs. And in that 2015 playoff appearance, they lost in the wildcard round. The Bengals have rarely been a strong football team. However, this year is an exception. Joe Burrow looks healthy. Jamarr Chase is a ROTY candidate. Joe Mixon is playing lights out. The Bengals cannot ask for much more.

Last week, the Bengals played great. Their defense only gave up 13 points to the solid Las Vegas Raiders and the offense was able to outduel the firepower of Derek Carr and the Raiders. This week, the Bengals keep the run game going. Joe Mixon finished with just 123 rushing yards averaging just over four yards per carry.

Steelers Preview: Health Primary Concern

Over the past few weeks, the Steelers have faced a myriad of injuries. Their defense was greatly handicapped last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, which was one of the main reasons they allowed a season-high 41 points. Currently, starting cornerback Joe Haden, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, and linebacker TJ Watt are all listed as questionable after being out last week.

On the offensive side, the Steelers look great. They scored 37 points last week against of the better secondaries in the league. Najee Harris is playing tremendously and Ben Roethlisberger looks awesome. To beat the Bengals, the Steelers just need their injury woes to end so they can play their best stars.

Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game

The current spread is at 5, favoring the Cincinnati Bengals. Personally, I believe the Steelers can put up a great fight. Of course, watching the defensive health is important, but I believe I significant portion of the defensive players will return.

In terms of the MoneyLine, again I believe the Steelers are a definite lock.
