• The Cowboys are coming off of a massive statement win over the Atlanta Falcons
  • The Chiefs look to be firing on all offensive cylinders again after a game where Patrick Mahomes lit up the scoreboard with 5 passing touchdowns
  • With the Chiefs having good odds to make the Super Bowl before this year started but coming out with a disappointing start, can this be a game the Chiefs use to right their Super Bowl title dreams?

This game is shaping up to be one of the great fireworks games of the year. With the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes coming off of a dominant 5 passing touchdown performance against the Raiders. Meanwhile, the Cowboys provided a statement win against the Falcons in which they put any doubts from the loss to the Broncos the week before, to rest.

Chiefs Preview: Finally ready to dominate the NFL once again?

The Kansas City Chiefs have come out extremely lackluster this season. Patrick Mahomes leads the NFL in interceptions but he also is currently 2nd in touchdowns thrown. The offense has fallen but has proven they can still get the job done.

The defense has been the biggest letdown this year and has cost them multiple games. The offense has put up 20 or more points in 8 of their 10 games this season while the defense has allowed 25 or more points in 6 of their 10 games this season. The defense has been significantly better recently, only allowing 38 points over their past 3 games.

A win over the Cowboys who have been lights out beside the loss to the Broncos would really throw this team back into the Super Bowl conversation once again. Can Mahomes continue to dominate against an elite defense and can the defense find a way to stop Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ powerful offense?

Cowboys Preview: Is it time to crown the Cowboys as Super Bowl favorites?

The Dallas Cowboys have been a powerhouse this year and are shaping up to be true Super Bowl favorites. The big story going into this year was if Dak could recover from his gruesome leg injury and be able to return to his outstanding play and he has exceeded expectations. Forget Comeback Player of the Year, he is on pace to potentially be MVP.

The surprise story of the year has been the much better play on the defensive side of the ball that has been complimenting the offense fantastically. This team personnel-wise is very similar but with some coach’s adjustments they have become much more efficient and Micah Parsons has been a key player for that to happen. Ranking top 5 in offense and top 10 in defense, this team is arguably the most complete in the league.

Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This NFL Game

The betting side of this game is very strange to me. Why are the Chiefs favored to win this week? Sure they have a high-powered offense but they have a defense that ranks 25th in the league overall playing an explosive Cowboys team that is top 10 on both sides of the ball. I would bet the Cowboys to win this game by a decent margin.

The Moneyline is more of the same with the spread since I think the Cowboys pull an upset and get the victory. This Chiefs team simply isn’t built to beat a super team like this Cowboys squad who can punish any team on both sides of the ball. Mahomes may come out and throw really well but against this defense that could only mean 4 passing touchdowns max while Dak Prescott will likely have a field day against a broken Chiefs defense.

This game is going to blow away the Over. If Mahomes shows up again the Chiefs will likely score around 30 points even against this great defense while the Cowboys will probably run up the score against a poor Chiefs defense. Dak and Zeke may combine for 6 or 7 touchdowns in this game.
