- Ravens should get the win
- Colts defense has been improving
- Both teams have been struggling with injuries
In the fifth week of the NFL regular season, the Indianapolis Colts travel to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens, with kickoff set for Monday at 8:15 pm EST.
The Colts are aiming to get their second win of the season on Monday, hoping to win two in a row after their first win of the season against the Miami Dolphins last week. The Ravens, on the other hand, hope to extend their winning streak to four games, as they have not lost since their Week 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Colts Preview: Improving, But Too Slowly
The Indianapolis Colts are currently third in the AFC South, with a record of 1-3. They just got their first win last week, against the Miami Dolphins. Despite being terrible their first couple of games, the Colts certainly made some improvements and adjustments so that they came out with a win in Week 4.
Led by Carson Wentz, the Colts offense certainly has not been an established threat this season, aside from a decent running game. Wentz is an unreliable, accident and injury-prone player, and it’s hard to have a decent offense when it is difficult to rely on your quarterback.
The Colts’ biggest asset going into this game is their defense, which is improving slowly. Their rushing defense in particular has been doing well, allowing only 35 rushing yards in last week’s game.

Despite the fact that the Colts saw some improvement in their Week 4 game, I don’t think they really have what it takes to get their second win against the Los Angeles Rams.
Ravens Preview: Rushing for a Record
Baltimore is currently 3-1 and in a close race for the top spot in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns, who have the exact same record. The Ravens are currently favorites for this game by a touchdown, and I think that this should be a fairly easy win for them, especially if they are able to pressure the Colts’ offense early.
In this game, the Baltimore Ravens will try and break an almost 50-year-old record. Last week, they tied the Pittsburgh Steelers’ record for most consecutive games in which total rushing yards exceeded 100 yards. They hope to break this record this week, and while it won’t be the main goal of the night, it will certainly be on the players’ minds.
The Ravens have been pretty solid so far this season, with three consecutive wins in their pocet. Their first two wins were close ones; they won by one point in Week 2 and two points in Week 3. However, their most recent win against the Denver Broncos was quite convincing and solid.
Both the Ravens’ offense and defense have been performing very well. Lamar Jackson passed for over 300 yards last week, and he continues to be a huge asset as a rusher as well. Their defense has been effective, making big stops in close games and contributing to the Ravens’ wins this season. Baltimore should be able to win this game, especially against a struggling Colts team.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game
DraftKings Sportsbook has the Baltimore Ravens as -6.5 point favorites for this game and -320 moneyline favorites. The total is set for 46 points, with the over/under at -110.
I think this will be a decently high-scoring game, so I would bet the over. Both these teams have been able to score a decent amount of points in their first four games, even the Colts, who have endured some struggles on offense.
I would also expect the Ravens to cover the spread, as I think the Colts will be unable to make this a close game.
