- Colts off to a rough start going 0-2
- Carson Wentz sprains not one, but two ankles
- Derrick Henry coming off a monster week
As the second week of the National Football League comes to a conclusion, teams look to review Week 2 game footage, improve, and get ready for the following week. On Sunday, at 1 PM ET, the Tennessee Titans will host the Indianapolis Colts for an exciting Week 3 matchup in Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Tennessee Titans are coming off an overtime, nail-biting Week 2 victory against the Seattle Seahawks. On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts are coming off a disappointing loss against the Los Angeles Rams. Hopefully, they can turn it around and finally win their first game of the season while the Titans look to go 2-1.

Colts Preview: Starting the Season 0-2
The main point of concern for the Indianapolis Colts moving into Week 3 is the health of quarterback Carson Wentz. Currently, he is dealing with ankle sprains on both ankles and is questionable for Week 3.

Wentz, while he has been healthy, has not been producing to the level many expected him to this year. Supplied with one of the league’s best offensive lines, defenses, and running back committees, Wentz should be extremely successful. But unfortunately, the Colts have simply not found their groove yet.
In Week 3, the Colts look to put up a good fight against the Titans. Last year, the Colts were second in the league in running yards given up and the Titans’ strongest point of attack comes from Derrick Henry.
If the Colts can put a stop to Henry and the run game, they will be at a significant advantage. On the other hand, the Colts should work to utilize their running backs more into the game. Jonathan Taylor, 2nd round pick in the 2020 draft, should be utilized more, especially after the monstrous end of the season he had last year.
Overall, if the Colts are looking to win in Week 3, stopping Derrick Henry and getting their own offense running should be the two primary objectives.
Titans Preview: Offense Looking Dangerous
On the other hand, the main point of concern for the Titans entering Week 2 was their offensive and how they didn’t look like the Titans from last year. Derrick Henry had only 58 rushing yards, Ryan Tannehill had only 1 passing touchdown, and Julio Jones had only 29 receiving yards in a disappointing loss to the Arizona Cardinals by 25 points.
But in Week 2, the offense pulled their loose ends together and beat the Seahawks behind Derrick Henry’s 182 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Henry seems to be the cure to the Titans’ struggles because every time he can get it going with his legs, the passing attack seems to open up and Ryan Tannehill looks much more comfortable.
In Week 3, the Titans should hope to attack the same way. They should attempt to capitalize on Carson Wentz’s injury. The Titans’ defense will be on the field so often because of the Colts’ lackluster offense and Derrick Henry will slowly exhaust the Colts. The run game will eventually open up and the passing game will too.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game
The spread is currently at 5.5, favoring the Tennessee Titans and this is a relatively low point favorite considering the fact that starting quarterback Carson Wentz of the Colts may not even play. Without him, this game will be a blowout.
Their backup quarterback Jacob Eason looked terrible last game against the Rams as he threw an interception in only 5 passing attempts. If the Tennessee Titans can maintain the offensive power they had last week, this spread looks very easy for them to cover.
In terms of the MoneyLine, again I believe the Titans have the advantage. However, if Carson Wentz makes a historic comeback and plays on Sunday, I have the Colts as a sneaky pick for the MoneyLine pick.
