• Can the patriots hold Dak Prescott and the cowboys to under 30 points?
  • Is Damien Harris healthy?
  • 4-1 Cowboys look to keep the good times rolling

This Cowboys offense is something else. Led by Prescott, this team has put up points at a premium scoring 35 points or more in their last three games. On the other hand, Prescott is putting up elite numbers through about a quarter of the season with 13 touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 116.9 QBR. This team is rolling.

As for the Patriots, it has been a bit of a struggle getting rookie signal-caller Mac Jones accustomed to the “Patriot Way.” Last week was a significant step in the right direction leading the patriots to a late field-goal drive against a struggling Houston Texans squad. In the game, the young quarterback threw for 231 yards, a touchdown and a 94.3 QBR.

Cowboys vs Patriots Matchup at a Glance

Cowboys Preview: three-headed monster

It has become clear that you have three pass catchers to concern yourself with to stop the Cowboy’s offense. Last week Ceedee Lamb was targeted six times for four receptions, 84 yards, and a touchdown. Amari Cooper was also targeted six times and provided three receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown.

On top of the double trouble out wide, tight end Dalton Shultz is having a nice season. Last week he led the team in targets with eight and was able to turn that into six receptions for 79 yards.

A key for this Cowboys offense will be keeping Prescott upright. Last week against the Giants, they only surrendered two sacks and five quarterback pressures. This season, the o-line has been ridiculously good in the ground game, helping Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot get off to impressive starts.

Patriots: Who is this defense?

This defense has been very hot and cold. The week before the Houston game, the Patriot’s secondary held Tom Brady and the high-flying buccaneer’s offense to under 20 points. And on the season has been relatively elite, allowing an 81.6 QBR to opposing quarterbacks (4th in NFL) and 206.6 YPG (5th in the NFL).

Last week though, was a rough showing. They let rookie Quarterback Davis Mills throw for 312 yards and a 141.7 QBR, which will have to improve against an elite offense in the Cowboys.

Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This NFL Game

When it comes to the point spread, the Patriots seem like the pick. Coming up Sunday in the Boston Forecast, they expect Showers\Wind and a 45% chance of precipitation. This game could easily follow a similar script that the Tom Brady return game did, and that would really play into the Patriot’s favor.

As for Moneyline, the Cowboys seem like the safe pick. Regardless of the weather, this team is built for running the football and not just throwing, and they will likely pull it out but in a close margin.
