This game will be the 30th ever matchup played in London throughout history. The Jaguars are coming off a difficult Week 5 loss against the Tennessee Titans. Jaguars Preview: Time to Get the First Win of the Season
The Jaguars have begun the season 0 – 5 and things are not looking very well for them. First-round pick Trevor Lawrence has been very disappointing through the first 5 games. Though he has shown flashes of accuracy, especially during the last game against Tennessee, Lawrence has many things to work on.
During most dropbacks, Lawrence spends too much time before throwing the ball. Typically if his first read is not present, he throws horrible balls. However, Lawrence has shown potential with his legs. He has run for two touchdowns and 110 yards through the first five games.
On the other side of the ball, the Jaguars are again disappointing. The Jaguars’ defense is bottom 10 in yards allowed and they have allowed countless passing and catching touchdowns. Just last week, Derrick Henry ran for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. The run and pass defense must improve if they have any shot at winning Sunday morning in London.
Dolphins Preview: Can Tua Turn the Dolphins’ Struggles Around?
Tua Tagovailoa may make his return in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars after battling a rib injury halfway through game 2 of the season. Jacoby Brisset has been struggling as the backup quarterback, finishing the last four-game stretch as 0-4. Tua gave the Dolphins their first win in Week 1 and hopefully, his return should give them the edge over the Jaguars.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Dolphins’ defense is bottom seven in yards allowed. Their defense has been giving up lots of points, recently allowing the Buccaneers to score 45. The Dolphins must improve things on the defensive side of the ball to stop Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game
The current spread is at 3, favoring the Miami Dolphins. This means that Vegas predicts that this game will be very close. But personally, I believe the Dolphins run away with it. The Miami defense will be too much for the young Jacksonville offense.
In terms of the MoneyLine, again I believe the Dolphins are a lock. Unless the defense manages to pick up the slack, the Jaguars are not going to win Sunday in London.
