Falcons Preview: Defensive Adjustments Necessary
After the initial six weeks of the NFL season, there are two clear concerns with respect to the Atlanta Falcons’ association. One, the offense is experiencing issues driving the ball down the field and scoring. Two, the protection is playing so poorly that Matt Ryan and the run game are having great difficulty.
The Falcons’ offense looks much improved. Matt Ryan, after the initial four weeks, presently has 707 passing yards, 8 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, and a fumble. Matt Ryan, however, has significantly improved these past few weeks. His current statistics are looking like 1668 yards, 12 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
On the opposite side of the ball, the defense is playing poorly too. The Falcons allowed Tua Tagovailoa and the young Miami offense to score 28 points in total. The defense is the greater concern in this team.
Panthers Preview: Quarterback Troubles
Last week, the Carolina Panthers were forced to bench quarterback Sam Darnold after he threw for only 112 yards and an interception through two quarters. He, and the Panthers offense, were entirely unable to move the ball down the field. But PJ Walker, Darnold’s backup, was not any better throwing 3/14 for 33 yards. The Panthers need to decide who to start for Week 7.

The defense is looking much worse than it actually is because the offense is barely on the field. When the Panthers offense goes three and out every possession, it puts a lot of stress on the defense. In the first three weeks when Darnold was playing well, the defense also was playing well. There was a good rhythm between both sides of the ball that there is not right now.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game
The current spread is at 3, favoring the Atlanta Falcons. Personally, I believe the Falcons run away with it. Matt Ryan should be able to produce some touchdowns and their secondary will hold the starting quarterback either Darnold or Walker and the Panthers offense to a few points.
In terms of the MoneyLine, again I believe the Falcons are a lock.
