The NFL playoffs are here! I can’t wait to take in some quality football for another month. Adding a seventh seed to each conference gives us the biggest Wild Card Weekend we’ve ever had – six games.
Previews, picks and props will come, but let’s get our bearings on the brackets. I’ll toss in a few lighthearted predictions that will 100% happen – and then gear up for game previews throughout the week.
I’ll use this as a home for spreads, over/unders and my game previews when they publish.
To ensure you don’t miss any, toss me a follow on Twitter, @griffybets. Let’s get to it!
Hell of a day! 9-1. Hope some of you have been riding 🚂

NFL Playoffs: Predictions
I haven’t yet crunched the numbers for each matchup, but just for fun, let me take a stab at predicting the entire playoff field.
Full disclosure: I have placed a future on a Green Bay-Buffalo Super Bowl (+1400), along with a Buffalo Super Bowl at +775. Related reading: Why I’m Betting on the Bills to Win Super Bowl LV
AFC Wild Card Round
#2 Bills over #7 Colts
#4 Titans over #5 Ravens
#6 Browns over #3 Steelers
Rolling with the three superior offenses in the first round.
AFC Divisional Round
#1 Chiefs over #6 Browns
#2 Bills over #4 Titans
Cleveland could give Kansas City’s 20th ranked defense (according to PFF) some fits, but they don’t have the secondary chops to slow down this Chiefs passing attack.
#2 Bills over #1 Chiefs
I’ve staked my claim as a Bills-guy to the end. They really do have the feel of the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s hoping they won’t collapse into themselves like Philly did after winning!
NFC Wild Card Round
#6 Rams over #3 Seahawks
#5 Bucs over #4 Washington
#2 Saints over #7 Bears
Bucs are rolling on both sides of the ball, they look good. Rubber match between LA and Seattle, if Goff is back – I’ll pick the upset here off the heels of LA’s #1 ranked defense on PFF.
Saints feels like an easy one.
NFC Divisional Round
#1 Packers over #6 Rams
#5 Bucs over #2 Saints
The Packers offense is humming and I see no reason to slow them down. Despite two bad losses to New Orleans, I’ll bet on Brady and the Bucs not letting it happen a third time.
NFC Championship Game
#1 Packers over #5 Bucs
I provided my disclaimer at the beginning, didn’t I? My future reigns supreme in my predictions. Give me Packers-Bills.
Super Bowl LV
#2 Bills over #1 Packers
Josh Allen and this offense are on fire, and the defense is peskier than you might think. I’m circling the wagons. Go Bills.
Let me know who ya got in the playoffs on Twitter, and make sure you’re following for game previews for each of the six games this weekend. Lots of great football awaits!
