Packers vs Bears Preview

The Chicago Bears kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16, and they are now just one win away from the playoff. Technically, the Chicago bears can now control their own destiny, but that’s not necessarily the case.

If the Bears want to make the playoffs this season then they must beat the 12-3 Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Green Bay Packers still have Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback, and it will be Rodgers that determines the outcome in Week 17.

Aaron Rodgers is 20-5 against the Chicago Bears in his career, including a blowout win earlier this season. Rodgers had knocked the Bears out of the playoffs in the past, and he has the opportunity to do it again on Sunday.

Brace yourselves Bears fans: Aaron Rodgers is coming, and the result won’t be pretty.

Packers vs Bears Preview – Rodgers Having Monster Season

Aaron Rodgers is now the favorite to win the NFL MVP Award after another ridiculous performance in Week 16. Rodgers had four touchdown passes in that win, and all of that was done in the middle of a snowstorm.

Rodgers has thrown for 4,059 yards and 44 touchdowns this season and is arguably playing the best football of his career. He continues to put up huge numbers while making it look easy, and he has a history of making the Bears defense look foolish.

The Bears have had some great defenses over the last 10 years, and Rodgers has beaten all of them. He is the last player that the Bears want to see on the field with their season on the line.

Can Bears Offense Keep Up?

The Chicago Bears will need to find a way to get pressure on Rodgers, but this defense will find a way to step up. Khalil Mack and company won’t be able to completely stop Rodgers, but they aren’t going to get torched again.

It will be up to the offense of the Bears to play well on Sunday and try to score right along with Rodgers and the Packers. Settling for field goals won’t work in this game, and Mitch Trubisky can’t afford any stupid turnovers.

Running back David Montgomery has been running it well of late, and he will need to help the Bears put together some long yards. The only real way to stop Rodgers is to keep him on the sidelines.

Packers vs Bears Preview – Prediction: Bears Suffer Close Loss

Look, the first meeting of the year between the Bears and Packers was a complete disaster for the Monsters of the Midway. The offense looked bad as usual, but it was the defense that was the big disappointment.

The Bears defense quit in that blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers, and they had no fight in them that night. That’s not going to happen again on Sunday, and the defense will allow the Bears to keep this game close.

The Bears will probably play well enough to take a lead late into the game, but that is when Aaron Rodgers is going to do his thing. He has made a career out of torturing the Chicago Bears, and one more game-winning drive on Sunday will end the season for the Bears in the most painful way.

You can take the points in this game and you have a chance to win some money, but it will be the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers that win this game. This is not going to end well for the Chicago Bears or their die-hard fans.

Aaron Rodgers is on a mission to end the Chicago Bears, and that is exactly what will happen on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field.
