Patriots Preview: Can the Patriots Recreate Week 2 25-6?

In Week 2, Mac Jones and the Patriots absolutely exposed the New York Jets and asserted their dominance over them. They got their first win of the season and Mac Jones looked much better than Zach Wilson.

Through this season, Mac Jones is number four in passing percentage throwing 71.7%, higher than Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson. He is having a historic rookie season and looks to win another match in Week 7.

In Week 2, the Patriots defense was able to force Zach Wilson to throw four interceptions so to win they must force them to turn the ball over. If Zach Wilson is throwing accurately, the Patriots may be in for a shock.

Jets Preview: Must Limit Turnovers

In Week 2, Zach Wilson threw 4 interruptions, but ever since then, he has thrown only 5 in the past 4 weeks which is not great, but much better. The Jets turned the corner in Week 5 when they beat the Titans.

Zach Wilson’s worst enemy is himself. If he is able to minimize turnovers, as he did in Week 5 against the Titans, the Jets can win the game. But the Jets must improve defensively because Damien Harris will come at them with a steaming head. Jets are ranked worse against the run so they must find a way to stop the run, or atleast limit it.

Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game

The current spread is at 7, favoring the New England Patriots. Personally, I believe the Patriots run away with it. Mac Jones should be able to produce some touchdowns and their secondary will hold Zach Wilson and the Jets’ offense to a few points.

In terms of the Moneyline, again I believe the Patriots are a lock.
