- Lamar Jackson will have a field day against the Miami defense.
- Tua Tagovialoa could potentially miss this game after recently being cleared to return.
- The Baltimore Ravens only come in at -7 in this Thursday night game.
The Ravens proved just how potent their offense is when they rallied back against the Vikings last week. Some errant throws by Lamar Jackson though nearly cost the Ravens the game. They’ll need to shore up some of these issues when they take on the Dolphins. Still, you can’t deny the offensive prowess of the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaking of offenses, the Dolphins’ offense could be without their starting quarterback all over again. Tua Tagovialoa injured his finger and is still listed as “questionable”. If he’s out Jacoby Brissett will lead the offense again after throwing two interceptions last week. Can the Dolphins limit the turnovers against the Ravens defense?

Ravens Preview: Baltimore can tighten its hold on the AFC North
The Baltimore Ravens are 6-2 right now but want to secure the AFC North. The Pittsburgh Steelers are gaining on them so each game is vital. The last thing they’ll want to do against the Dolphins is have the same start they did against Minnesota. If that happens, they might not be able to fight their way back as easily.
Lamar Jackson also needs to stop forcing so many plays with his legs. It’d be a lot easier for him to throw the ball away than taking a sack. Setting Jackson up with simple plays to start the game will be their best bet. Designed QB runs will also be a great way to spread the field out on Thursday night as well.
Dolphins Preview: Miami looks for two in a row
The Miami Dolphins secured their first win since Week 1 on Sunday. Unfortunately for them, they face the Baltimore Ravens this week. They’ll also likely be missing Tua Tagovialoa again, which could pose a problem. Jacoby Brissett threw two interceptions last week, mistakes like that can’t happen against Baltimore.

Protecting the ball and controlling the clock are going to be key in this one. If Miami can control the pace of the game, they’ll have a much better chance. Still, that doesn’t mean that we believe the Dolphins can realistically come away with this one.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This NFL Game
The Ravens aren’t great against the spread, currently 3-5 on the season. They also don’t do very well against the spread on the road, 1-2. However, they don’t have a large spread to cover here, just seven points, which shouldn’t be a problem.
The Dolphins are even worse against the spread, especially at home. They’re 1-3 ATS when playing at home and 3-5-1 on the season. Although neither team performs well against the spread, the better team is the Baltimore Ravens.
