The New Orleans Saints are traveling to FedEx Field to take on the Washington Football Team in a week five matchup that is shaping up to be a very close game. The Saints are coming into the game with a 2-2 record.
Last week, they were defeated in a heartbreaking overtime game against the New York Giants. The Football Team enters the matchup with a record of 3-1. Last week, they were in a close game against the Atlanta Falcons. Both teams have had highs and lows this season, making the game a tough one to predict, however, it should also make for a very good game.

Saints Preview: An Essential Bounceback Game
The Saints have been a team of highs and lows this season. They opened the year with a dominating victory against the Green Bay Packers, however, they have been chasing that high ever since. Their most recent loss to the New York Giants has been their lowest low of the season.
New Orleans has struggled greatly through the air so far this season. They currently rank 31st in the NFL in passing yards. If they are able to get their passing game going in this game, they will be able to easily get out of Washington with a win. However, if they are unable to move the ball through the air once again this week, we will have a much tighter game.
Football Team Preview: Defending Their Home Field
The Washington Football Team will be looking to defend their home turf on Sunday. They have put together a very respectable 3-1 record so far. Their only loss coming in a blowout by the hands of the Buffalo Bills. Lucky for the Football Team, the Saints are nowhere near as talented as the Bills.

Their offense has ranged from average to below average this season. The game will be in the hands of their defense. If they are able to keep Alvin Kamara from having a big impact on the game, their offense should be able to do enough to get the job done.
A final thing the Football Team’s defense must do to win this game is to force turnovers. So far, they have only forced a single interception. Up to this point, Saints quarterback Jameis Winston has been very cautious with the ball, after having a season earlier in his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which he threw for 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
If the Football Team is able to get Jameis to tap into his old ways and make some dumb mistakes, it will make life much easier for their offense to do enough to get by.
Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This NFL Game
With the Football Team having home-field advantage along with coming off of a win last week, we are taking them to win this game. Their defense will step up and make some big plays.
While we do not expect any miraculous performance out of Washington’s offense, they will do enough to get the job done. Along with this we will be taking the Football Team’s moneyline. Lastly, in the vein of not expecting much offense to be played, we are predicting the under.
