The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the driver’s seat to win another Super Bowl and become back-to-back champions. Read the article to see the many reasons Mitch believes this to be true.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers history on the west coast of Florida currently boasts two Super Bowl Championships. The franchise got their first Super Bowl win at Super Bowl XXXVII against the Oakland Raiders and then received their second Lombardi Trophy after their most recent victory in Super Bowl LV by beating the Kansas City Chiefs.

Between their first Super Bowl and last year’s Super Bowl, the Bucs had some tough times on the football field. Many aspects of the team had to change, and they did.

Management brought in Bruce Arians to begin building the foundation and creating a culture for Tampa. After Arians, it was the major free-agent signing of future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady that turned expectations from maybe making the playoffs to competing for a Super Bowl. Brady brought in Rob Gronkowski to add to an already potent offensive unit that had NFL secondaries scratching their heads.

In his first season with the team, Tom Brady led the Bucs to an 11-5 record and a Super Bowl victory that some skeptics didn’t believe was possible. Well, Mr. Tom Brady is at it again.

2021-22 Season’s Hot Start

So far through two weeks of play, the Buccaneers sit at 2-0 atop of the NFC South Division. Tom Brady currently has 9 touchdowns with only 2 interceptions. The Buccaneers management and coaching staff saw the chemistry that Brady was able to develop with his receivers such as Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and late-season addition Antonio Brown. That is why they all were kept on the team this season and the team looks to already be in midseason form.

Brady’s longtime favorite target Rob Gronkowski is tearing it up at the Tight End position so far with 12 catches on 13 targets and has 129 yards receiving with 4 touchdowns. Needless to say that “retirement” phase that Gronk took before signing with the Bucs is seeming to pay off.

The Tampa Bay defense is once again top-notch and making it very uncomfortable for teams to beat them. Their run defense is hard-nosed and unforgiving. This makes opponents very one-dimensional on the football field. If the game has to be a passing attack on both sides of the football, the Bucs will take that bet every single Sunday.

Bucs Will Ride The Wave Into The Postseason

If the coaching staff and their coordinators can keep getting creative with their offensive and defensive schemes, this team truly can shatter records and rake in wins every week they step on the field.

All in all, this Tampa Bay Buccaneers team has a chance to do something many critics think is an afterthought. But with many members of their offense on pace to have career years in many statistical categories, it is quite difficult to find a team that can dethrone the champs and take the wind out of the Buccaneers sails in the 2021-22 season.
