• Titans are thriving even without Derrick Henry
  • Will Tyrod Taylor be able to save the Texans?
  • Are the Texans the worst team in the NFL?

In the 11th week of the NFL regular season, the Houston Texans (1-8) travel to Nissan Stadium to take on the Tennessee Titans (8-2,) with kickoff scheduled for Sunday at 1pm EST.

The Texans are entering this game fresh off their Week 10 bye. In this AFC South rivalry matchup, they will aim to end their eight-game losing streak, after falling to the Dolphins 17-9 in Week 9. The Titans, on the other hand, are one of the best teams in the league with an 8-2 record. They will look to extend their six-game winning streak. Last week, they defeated the New Orleans Saints in a close 23-21 game.

Texans Preview: Rock Bottom?

There’s not much to say about this Houston team that hasn’t already been said. They’re trash. They haven’t won a game since Week 1, and that was against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s now Week 11. That’s more than terrible.

Despite being one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Texans do have a few things going for them this week. They’re entering this AFC South matchup fresh off their bye week, so they’re freshly rested. They also just got their starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor back. But that’s pretty much all the good.

The Texans have been terrible at even scoring points this season. They’ve scored more than nine points just twice in their last seven games, which is a mind-blowing statistic. The Texans are also ranked dead last in the league in points and yards this season, and they have also allowed the second-most rushing yards.

There’s no way Houston is winning this game. Let’s just leave it at that.

Titans Preview: Creative Title Addition

The Titans are, for lack of a better way to say it, killing it. Despite losing their star running back Derrick Henry to a potentially season-ending injury (a broken foot,) they have been thriving. They have won their last six games consecutively, losing only to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 and a fluke game to the New York Jets in Week 4.

The Titans are looking like one of the best teams in the NFL right now. They’ve defeated notable opponents like the Seattle Seahawks, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Rams, and the New Orleans Saints. They also lead the league in rushing attempts and touchdowns, and their defense has been solid in stopping their opponents.

I would be shocked to my core if the Titans do not win this Week 11 game. They clearly have all the tools they need to be a successful team, even without Henry. This entire season has gone extremely well for them, and I know for a fact that the Texans don’t have what it takes to slow them down.

Odds & Free Betting Analysis for This Football Game

DraftKings Sportsbook has the Tennessee Titans as 10-point favorites for this game and -340 Moneyline favorites. The total is set for 44.5 points, with the over/under at -110.

I think that the Titans will win by a more-than-comfortable margin, so I would bet the over. I fully expect the Titans to score over 30 points, and I also expect Houston to find the red zone a couple of times.

I would be surprised if the Titans are unable to cover the spread, even though the spread is set at a decent 10 points. I just think the Titans are that much better. In all honesty, I fully expect the Titans to win this game by more than 10 points.
