The Hart Trophy Candidates for 2018-2019

The Hart Trophy is awarded to the player that is judged most valuable to his team and is voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association. It was named in honor of Cecil Hart in 1923 and donated by his son David Hart. Cecil Hart was a former coach for the Montreal Canadiens.

Norris Trophy Candidates for 2018-19

The Norris Trophy in the NHL might be the most subjective of all the awards they give out. This award is for the top defensive player who demonstrates the greatest all-around ability in the position. This award does include how the player does on defense and offense. In the past, the winners have shown they can play both offense and defense.
