Chicago Fire v. Inter Miami

Chicago Fire will be looking for heir first win of the season as they welcome Inter Miami to Soldier Field. This is the first ever meeting between these teams.

In their last match, the Chicago Fire lost 1-0 to DC United. Chicago Fire had several chances but they failed to find the net. Chicago has lost four straight since they opened the season with a 2-2 draw facing the  New England Revolution.  The Chicago Fire are one point ahead of Cincinnati from the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

The main concern for the Fire is the defense hasn’t been very good for manager Raphael Wicky. Chicago has allowed 10 goals in 5 contests. Only bottom feeder Cincinnati has allowed more.

Chicago Fire

Inter Miami defeated a poor Cincinnati team last week 3-2. Brek Shea opened the scoring in the first half and Gonzalo Higuain  got the game winner for Miami.

Manager Phil Neville will be looking for another win over a weak team they are seventh in the Eastern Conference and behind New England by three points.  For come odd reason, Inter Miami had done better on the road with to wins and a draw
